His name was forgotten in time. It was forgotten after his suicide.
His life beforehand wasn't at all special. Since he was younger he was made to dress as a girl since he was "sick." It just turned out that his parents wanted an excuse to have a "daughter". It fucked him up a bit but he moved on, seeing that he didn't mind feminine clothing. He moved out from his parents as soon as he could so he turned off legal age to be on his own. He tried to finish college but only got deeper and deeper into debt as time went on.
His only family at the time was his two pet cats who were pure white, he had gotten them after he saw them huddled by their mother's cold body. In the end he hoped he had given them a better chance.
There was another thing adding to his debt, his intense drinking problem that started out of stress. Going to the store or a bar late at night to at least grab a hold of a cheap bottle. That mistake crashed on him hard after spending a month in the hospital due to a car wreck.. After that he went back at it like nothing happened. He didn't care; it was an attempt at death anyways
.
Another attempt, overdose.
Another attempt, bleeding out.
Another attempt, hanging.
Final attempt, jumping off of a bridge and drowning.
Then he woke up.
It was a mess of panic attacks after that. He could barely remember what happened and how time had passed. All he had was the voices of the moth in his head and the flashbacks of his death. It was all fueled by self loathing. Until someone came by.
Enkodo was a woodland elf. Fairly average height. Her clothing was mostly goth fashion accompanied by her ridiculously long blonde hair. She was the first of the few who knew what happened.
She calmed him down and took care of him. Turns out she found him in a meadow by a rain tree and led him back to a small village. Then she told him what was going on.
He was in a world called Eden, a safe place ██████████ Only a few people manage to end up here, mostly because of stressful lives they finally get some peace by resting here in the ██████████
He asked her how she passed away then. Turns out she was born here and had no "previous life" besides this one. She asked in return but he kept quiet, not willing to break down at the moment.
Time passed and more information was given. Such as the reason why He himself looked different was because people take on the form based on their past selves. She also told him that some people had powers, although mundane, such as Enkodo can easily tell how others are feeling by just glancing at them.
Then she told him one thing.
"Death here is permanent. Although you cannot die by sickness nor age, but you can by murder or suicide."
That's not a thing you tell a suicidal person. He never thought of it much until three days later when he broke down and his emotions went off rails. He passed out from blood loss.
He woke up again with bandages on his legs and arms. Along with a pissed Enkodo.
"You lost a deadly amount of blood." She stated. "If anyone loses that amount they'll be dead." The elf sighed. He waited for her continuation.
"I really don't know how else to say this but um..."
A pause.
"You died."
"Wait what do you mean?" He hoarsely spoke, he was not known to speak too much so his voice was always scratchy and unused. "I mean I thought death was permanent here so why am I not dead?" his voice was shaking so he decided to close up.
"Not exactly for you...You see others can stay permanently dead. Just, you're the exception."
That's when He choked on his own saliva.
She continued to explain that even though he can die, he just cannot stay dead. That the world around him can change if he wishes too.
Time passed on and they learned more about each other and they sort of took on a mother-son role on each other. The village grew into a town and the town grew into a city named Everton. Along with gaining a nickname from Enkodo as “her little flower.” Which is odd.
Then He ran into two white kittens one day.
They were small and couldn't be less than a few weeks old. The mother that was nearby was in serious condition but seemed to trust He was handling her kin. He was reminded of the little family he had back then and thought what if they were the same kits?
They were in all bad condition and were heavily sick and close to death. He then tried something he never tried before, restoring life.
It wasn't taboo as bringing the dead back but simple healing. He didn't exactly know how to though. He could direct energy towards then but they could be too weak to handle it.
Deciding that he couldn't do anything he then just resorted to giving affection before leaving. He gave a simple peck on one of the kitten's noses before putting them down. Although instead of doing so he witnessed it's body putting itself in better condition rapidly.
It did result in a few strange markings on the kitten, similar to a bee, it was healthy. He stared at it in awe of it's cuteness and that he was able to help it. He set it down on his lap in order to grab the other one, only to discover the mother had run off.
He named the kittens Sparta and Athenae, after a few requests from Enkodo to name them after something in the past. The bee patterned one was named Sparta and the other as Athenae. He did what he could to give them a happy life...until they hit 5 years.
Turns out his "healing" capabilities also gave them speech abilities. Sparta leaned more to being on the neutral side and went as "they" but Athenae went feminine and as "she".
Later on it turned out Enkodo had a friend with similar qualities. A young lady named Lilac, she’s just a simple brown dog who could change into a person. He never hung around and started to get distant.
He eventually went away. The world they lived in remained the same except for the people themselves. Afterwards Athenae joined a cult that revolved around him for unspecified reasons. Everyone tried to continue on and some tried to bring him back.
