He crashed through the door and fell to the ground. It was night time and Flower was so tired and out of power so all he could do was teleport short distances. His nose started bleeding again due to his exhaustion and ran down his face to meet the floor.
Flower's ear flicked as he heard someone running down the stairs, an audible gasp was heard and Flower felt himself being picked up. Whatever he was laying against, it was so warm. So warm against his shivering body.
It's Enkodo.
Flower sighed in relief. Trying to absorb everything he can. He knew that Enkodo was crying because of the sudden wetness in his feathers, it made him feel like a missing child... finally returned home to it's mourning mother.
Maybe that's how she felt, being the mourning mother. Guilt ate Flower again and he choked on the air while tears felt like they were threatening to fall. He let them and they...
they didn't...
Nothing came out, he was numb. Anytime he tried to cry the most that came out was a few. Flower felt like an empty shell, filled to the brim with guilt and shame. He shouldn't be the god, why was he a god. He wasn't fit for this position all he was before was a worthless drug addict and alcoholic with mental problems. Sure he never got diagnosed but...he knew there was something wrong. There were so many things wrong with him. The feeling weighed him down again, he just wanted to sleep.
Flower soon passed out from exhaustion in Enkodo's arms, the elf soon carried him to a room she had emptied out for him upstairs. She planned to at least try to convince him to take a bath tomorrow and eat, but all she could do was wait for him to wake up before piling questions on him.
Enkodo wasn't really the type to cry but for some reason this torn her up badly, she's not even sure she's doing her role correctly. The elf shook her head and held the stone that she had on her necklace between her fingers. She stared at Flower's sleeping form from the door frame and turned around, closing the door behind her.
