Hi!! I highly suggest you re-read the previous parts before reading this since I haven't uploaded in a while and you guys might have forgotten about the previous events. Just a suggestion! Enjoy
Very early in the morning, Elwyn decided to walk to Lysandra's and Manta's little house which was right across from his. The angel had been dodging the elf's questions regarding the dragon, telling him that she didn't know anything about a dragon and trying to convince him that it was a coincidence or even a hallucination. Of course, Elwyn just wasn't convinced, so he wanted to confront her and learn the truth. The elf knocked on the door and Lysandra answered a couple of seconds later.
"Elwyn? The confused angel asks. What are you doing-"
He pushed past her. Lysandra swiftly closed the door behind him, annoyed that Elwyn entered her house without permission.
"Alright, Lysa, you can stop lying now! he told her."
"What are you talking about Elwyn? asked Lysandra while frowning and tightly grabbing the corner of the kitchen table."
"Don't act clueless, said Elwyn, who was walking in circles around the room, stopped and started walking towards her. Now tell me the truth, he demanded, annoyed. Why was there a dragon next to Sasha after the incident? It was even trying to dig her up, for Adall's sake! Were you aware of its existence? It's not the fact that you won't tell me about it that angers me, but the fact that you blatantly lie to me and try to convince me I'm crazy or something"
Lysandra fiddled nervously with a small crystal she grabbed from the table, hesitant to tell her friend about the secret. She exhaled loudly and looked down.
"Yes, I knew, the angel admitted. I told Sasha to keep the baby dragon a secret, she quietly said, worried about how Elwyn would react."
"Even from me? Do you not trust me, Lysandra? I'm your friend. You know me better than anybody else, he expressed, hurt. "
"But I do trust you, Elwyn! I swear!"
"Really? I doubt it, he said harshly, his expression impenetrable, cold as ice."
The tension in the air was palpable. They just stood there, Elwyn staring at Lysandra and Lysandra staring at the floor. She finally decided to break the painful silence.
"Firstly, I told her to hide the dragon for their safety, explained the angel."
Elwyn stayed silent, his arms crossed over his chest waiting for the rest of her explanation.
"And secondly... I may have doubts about Sasha."
"huh? Elwyn was taken by surprise. What do you mean Lysa?"
"Well, I don't know if I should tell you about it, she hesitated."
"You don't trust me? Elwyn asked once again."
"Stop saying that! She responded, annoyed. It has nothing to do with that. I'll tell you since you probably won't stop asking until I do. I think that Sasha may not be human but in fact, a dragon keeper. "
Elwyn's eyes widened and he stared into space, processing this new information. He then started laughing uncontrollably.
"Of course, Lysa! ahah! he said sarcastically. The elf calmed down before continuing. They all died years ago. "
"Like I don't already know that! She replied quite loudly. I thought about it for a while. Maybe, just maybe, some of them survived. It's quite strange that Sasha came across those monsters in the human world. Don't you think? There is no known gate that connects the two realms and Morgane is on my side, Lysandra explained while looking for a pencil and her notebook."
She took out a folded paper from between two pages and opened it up to reveal a map.
"There, that's the dragon's realm, she said while pointing to a small circle on the map, and that's the human realm. We think something or someone in the dragon's realm, well, monster's realm, opened a gate, the angel said while scribbling on the map. That would explain their presence in the human world! The baby dragon, whom Sasha named Merlin, was the one who found her and he continued to follow her around. What Sasha doesn't know yet, is that dragons only trust their keepers, their guardians. Sasha's presence in itself proves my theory, a descendant of this extinct race in the human realm. The only thing I am unsure of is how Sasha arrived in Egea in the first place. "
"Wow Lysa, didn't know you also made up elaborate conspiracy theories, Elwyn said sarcastically. This is Morgane behaviour.
Lysandra raised her head to look at him. The look in her eyes said, "Did you just compare me to that morron?"
"Calm down Lysa, it's just a joke. I see how the dragon keepers could have maybe fled to the human realm and how it may be in danger, but we don't have any concrete proof, Elwyn argued. We won't be certain about it until Sasha forms a real bond with her dragon. The kind where she can use his power at will. "
"I know, the angel replied, but for now, I have to ask you something. Please do not tell Sasha anything that was discussed here this morning, especially the part about her not being human. "
"Why not? he asked, waving his arms around in confusion. Wouldn't she like to know about this? She has a right to know, Elwyn declared. "
"What difference does it make? I'm keeping her safe. I'm doing her a favour. It's my job to protect her from harm, said Lysandra."
"Do you think you're keeping her safe by not telling her anything? By keeping her in the dark? you- Ugh! "
Elwyn pulled on his hair in annoyance, then let his arms fall to his sides while sighing loudly.
"Fine, do what you want, resigned the elf. I'll go check on Sasha and take her on a walk if she feels better."
"Will she be fine with all her injuries? Lysandra asked, worried. "
"She's tougher than you think. Stop treating her like a baby, Lysandra. "
"Alright then, she scoffed, annoyed. I have to go back to Sheina, the angel said while turning her back on him. "
On that bitter note, She walked out and took off, her feathery wings angrily stirring up dust.
Sasha is a very curious and stubbornly brave (or stupid) 13 years old girl. One day, she couldn't take it anymore. She was craving a new adventure, so she fled her adoptive mother looking for a more action-filled life. Guess what? Well, she found it! But maybe it wasn't exactly what she was expecting. She woke up, after a dramatic fall, in an unfamiliar, fantastic world called Egea where lives some of the most unexpected of creatures. Along the way, she meets a lot of interesting people(?) but also falls face-to-face with a very unfortunate series of events. Will she be able to make it back to her family? or will she find out that she belongs somewhere else...?
