Axle was the least affected by all that was happening. He still couldn't believe his eyes as he kept staring at his new pair of legs. The skin of his legs was jade white, and it looked like it was glowing.

Axle couldn't stop himself from touching them, and oh goodness! It felt so smooth and soft that he couldn't get enough of it. He would have continued admiring his legs for who knows how long if Eris hadn't tried to get his attention.

Eris splashed water on Axle and jokingly said, "They are not going to disappear, if that's what you are thinking. So you can feel them all you want later."

Axle's eyes finally left his legs and focused on Eris. His eyes were filled with wonderment as he asked,  "When… Where… How did you find out about this? That my pearl can make me human."

A small smile formed on Eris' face and he said, "I'm not allowed to tell. Just be glad that it worked and go out there to be whoever you want to be. No more coronation and no unwanted marriage. You finally get to decide your own destiny."

Axle was a bit disappointed that even at the moment where they were parting, Eris still chose to keep secrets from him, but he decided to let it go and just be grateful for his help.

There was just one question Axle had left for Eris, and he hesitated a bit before asking. "Is there a way you could also be human… so you could come with me?"

Eris stilled when he heard that question and an emotion flashed in his eyes before it quickly disappeared. Eris chuckled softly before replying, "I wish I could, but I can't. I don't have a pearl, remember? Well even if I could transform, I can't leave my mother behind."

There was a brief moment of silence between the two of them before Axle nodded in understanding.

Eris then continued, "You can always come to see me whenever you want. I will always be here, together with Fiona. Like you said, your father must be suspicious by now, and I'm sure he's going to come for you. So cheer up and go for what you desire before it's too late."

Axle smiled when he remembered Fiona, "Fiona would be so heartbroken when she finds out I left without her permission. Please pacify her on my behalf and try to get along."

Eris nodded and said, "I'll try my best." 

"You've really changed a lot since this morning. You are no longer the big baby I used to know. I'm not complaining though, just surprised." Said Axle as he stared intently at Eris.

"Believe me, I'm also surprised." was Eris' short reply.

Axle heaved a sigh, then he focused his eyes back on his legs as he tried moving them. It wasn't as hard as he thought it would be, until he tried standing on his feet.

His legs felt wobbly and weak as he managed to finally stand erect after falling a couple of times and was being made fun of by Eris.

Axle looked at Eris who had been laughing at him, with an aggrieved expression on his face. "It's not funny, it's hard to use these legs."

"I'm sorry. I just can't help it." Eris said, while still laughing. "Be careful out there, okay? And don't cause any trouble. Also, remember you can't reveal your identity to the humans."

"I've heard you. Goodbye!" Axle said as he turned around to leave with his still wobbling legs, while Eris kept cracking up as he watched him walk away.

Eris later stopped laughing, and his eyes got teary as they held undefined emotions. He then said in a low voice, "Goodbye, old friend." After that, he was gone.

Axle who had heard the sound of waters, turned around and saw that Eris had left. "Such a friend, indeed." He pouted and kept on walking, looking aggrieved.

But that didn't last though. He later got lost in his admiration of his new body parts. 

One of his favorite was his buttocks. He loved how round and soft it felt when he rubbed against them and he couldn't get enough of it. 

There was also one part of his body that he found weird and amusing. He wondered what it was used for. It was long and big, and it was dangling between his legs as he walked.

Meanwhile, a certain someone was watching him as he wandered away. That someone was Augeus.

Augeus had planned to go after Axle and stop him from doing whatever it was that he planned to do, but he was suddenly paralyzed when he saw Axle was already in human form.

How did Axle find out that the pearls had the power to turn them human? How long had he known? Augeus asked himself these questions.

His plan was to bring Axle back to the kingdom, no matter which method was necessary, but as he saw how happy Axle was with his new form, he just couldn't bring himself to snatch away that happiness.

His heart ached at the thought of losing the only family he had left by his side and he was tempted to go after Axle, and just tell him everything he wanted to know. Then together, they would find Celine and Luca and finally be a complete family.

But he held back his selfishness. He felt he wasn't worthy to be with his family. He was the one that chose to be a king over being a husband to Celine and a father to Luca, so he should endure the pain of being alone. Besides, he was sure Celine must hate him so much that she would never want to set her eyes on him ever again.

At the end, he could only say the words, "Stay safe, son. Your father loves you." Before turning back to return to his kingdom.

Axle who was oblivious to all these, kept wandering in directions he didn't know. The beach was quiet and lonely so there was little to no people in sight. The few people he came across on the way were giving him weird looks which he couldn't explain. It was dark, so they couldn't quite make out his face, but his other features were enough to make them keep looking.

There was one time he came across a young man and a lady. When he walked past them, they both looked at him in awe.

The lady whistled and exclaimed, "Damn!"

The comment from the lady made her get a deathly glare from the man. "Such a shameless pervert! Must you always flirt with anyone and everything?"

"It's not my fault that he looks like he could be a fallen angel. Just look at his beautiful features, his flawless skin looks like were made with milk." The lady said in her defense while still eyeing Axle. Her eyes were locked on his groin.

"He really does look so divine." The man said in agreement with the lady and then he continued, "Too bad he seems to not be alright in the head, or have you seen a sane person walking about naked?"

"Don't jump into conclusions. He might have been robbed off his clothes. What if he gets harassed? Please, why don't we invite him over for the night?" The lady suggested with a hidden agenda, but the man saw right through her.

The man yanked her by the arm, possessively pulling her away immediately. "Don't you even think about it. I'm the only one you are having for tonight."

The lady had no choice but to be dragged away, but she still screamed aloud, "I'll make sure to find you one day, Prince Charming!"
