Leas grabs the sword by its handle but as soon as he does. A burning feeling starts in his arms

- Ouch! he says as he lets go of the sword

The sword falls to the ground 

- Are you ok!? asks Vrock as he quickly gets up

Leas looks at his hand with a perplexed expression

{Leas}

" What was that? It's the same weird feeling that I had about two days ago. A weird feeling that my hand is burning while it actually isn't."

- I'm... fine. answers Leas while keeping his eyes on his hand

Vrock picks up the sword

- It's incredibly light. he says while swinging the sword around. But... what is this feeling?

Leas quickly turns around and looks at Vrock

- You feel it too, old man!? asks Leas in surprise

- I am not old enough to be called an old man. quickly replies Vrock with a serious expression

Vrock raises the sword in the air and looks at it

- But yeah. he says. I am getting an odd feeling from the sword

Vrock turns around and swings the sword down at a wooden table. Instead of cutting through the table, the sword makes contact with the table and bounces off Vrock's hand to finally fall to the ground behind him

- What... the... hell? says Leas in shock by what he just witnessed

- The sword is sharp yet doesn't cut... says Vrock in a reflective tone. That's my first time seeing a sword like this

- Do you know why my sword doesn't cut things? asks Leas in a frustrated tone

- I have no idea. answers Vrock. It's my first time seeing such a thing

Leas heads toward the sword, grabs its hilt, and lifts it, or at least tries to lift it

- What are you doing? asks Vrock while looking at Leas who is trying his hardest to pick up his sword

- It's... too.... heavy! he says while using all of his strength to try lifting the sword

- What? says Vrock while looking at Leas. That's impossible. I just lifted the sword and it was incredibly light

Leas lets go of the sword hilts and points it

- Then lift it again. says Leas while pointing at the sword. You'll see that I am not lying

- I never said that you were lying. says Vrock as he walks toward the sword and grabs it by its hilt. I only said that it was light when I lifted it

Vrock raises the sword once more without any efforts

- See. says Vrock with the sword raised in the air

- Is it because I am not strong enough? asks Leas

- I don't think so. says Vrock. This barely weights anything

- What is going on? mumbles Leas

Vrock looks at Leas then pats his head

- You need to go home now kid. says Vrock

- What about my sword? asks Leas

- I'll carry it for you. answers Vrock with a smile. Now, let's go.

[A Few Minutes Later When Vrock And Leas Arrives]

Vrock nocks at the door and the door quickly opens. Roderick is sweating profusely and when he sees Leas he lets out a sigh of relief

- HE'S HERE, YVELT! yells Roderick while looking at Leas

Yvelt runs at the door, opens it wide, and looks at Leas. When she sees him, nothing but happiness is on her face but a few seconds later, anger replaces the happiness

{Leas}

" Crap."

- In your room, young man. says Yvelt with anger coming out of every single pore of her body

Leas enters the house and slowly heads into his room while pouting

- Where did you find him? ask Roderick to Vrock

- He woke me up yesterday at night. says Vrock. I was sleeping and the sound that he was making while he was in the smithy woke me up

- He broke into your smithy at night!? Yvelt asks with surprise and anger

- I was also angry but... I have to admit that I am glad I didn't lock the smithy. says Vrock with a small smile

- What? says Yvelt in confusion

- What are you talking about, Vrock? asks Roderick who is also confused

Vrock raises his hand that is carrying the sword that Leas made. As soon as he sees the blade, Roderick freezes

- This... This is... A National Treasure... says Roderick who is currently frozen in place

Yvelt looks at Roderick with widened eyes, then turns around to look at Vrock

- Did... Leas... steal this sword? asks Yvelt with a smile of disbelief

Vrock shakes his head

- WAIT! yells Roderick after coming to a realization. You said you found him in your smithy last night yet you didn't bring him back and you are glad that you didn't lock the smithy... 

Roderick looks at Vrock with widened eyes

- Vrock... are you saying... starts Roderick with a smile of disbelief forming on his face

Vrock nods

- This was made by Leas at night. says Vrock 

Enzo comes out of the house

- What's happening here? asks Enzo to his parents

- It's nothing. answers Yvelt. Go back inside and tell your brother to get ready to go

Enzo notices the sword and as soon as he does he jumps toward Vrok

- MINE! yells Enzo as he jumps at Vrock

- WHAT THE HELL!? yells Vrock

Yvelt grabs Enzo by the shirt and takes him back inside

- Let's talk about this later, Vrock. says Roderick with seriousness

- Sure. replies Vrock as he hands the sword to Roderick. Give it back to Leas. This is something that he made all by himself so he should keep it

Roderick grabs the sword

- This... This sword is so light. says Roderick while looking at the sword

Vrock turns around and leaves

- SEE YOU LATER, RODERICK! he says as he leaves

- YEAH! SEE YOU LATER! replied Roderick as he headed back inside

Roderick closes the door and heads into the living room where Yvelt and Leas are 

- It's time for you to explain yourself, young man. says Yvelt

Roderick sits down next to Yvelt

- Go ahead, Leas. adds Roderick

- I couldn't just do nothing. says Leas while looking down

Roderick and Yvelt look at each other then look at Leas

- What are you talking about, son? asks Roderick

- I know what is happening. says Leas while clenching his fists. I heard everything! I know that the village is in danger because we are going to have a war!

- What? says Enzo who just arrived in the living room. A... war?

Roderick exhales

- A war just like the ones we learned about in school? asks Enzo with disbelief

- You teach them that? asks Roderick

- It's so that they can understand that war is a bad thing that inflicts pain upon others. says Yvelt. I don't want the kids to grow up and only see the good that winning a war brings

- But... still. says Roderick. Shouldn't you have waited before teaching them that?

- A war is coming Roderick. says Yvelt. And it won't discriminate between children and adults

Roderick exhales again

- You're right. he says. Unfortunately, that is the truth

- I don't want to just sit and wait. says Leas with determination. I want to help. I want to fight too!

- Fine. says Roderick. I'll give you a chance

- Wait! I want to help too. says Enzo 

- Roderick! What are you thinking? asks Yvelt with anger

Roderick says something in her ears

- I see... fine. she says reluctantly. Go ahead with your plan 

Yvelt gets up and heads to her room, she comes out of her room with her bag and leaves

- Where did Mom go? asks Enzo

- To work. answers Roderick

- Without us? says Leas

- From now on, you two are going to train with me. says Roderick. You be going to school anymore but your mother will homeschool you both when she comes back from work

- And the rest of the time is going to be you training us? asks Enzo

Roderick nods

- First things first. says Roderick as he gets up. We need to get both of your bodies in the condition needed to reach our goal

- Our goal? says the brother at the same time

- I'll tell you later. says Roderick. For now, I want you both to run for the next two hours throughout the village and you can only stop to drink water

- WHAT!? TWO HOURS OF RUNNING NON-STOP!!! yells the brothers

Roderick gets closer to the brothers

- This is not the training that normal children go through, even adults wouldn't be able to go through the training that I am going to give you. says Roderick with only seriousness on his face. This is the kind of training that only knights go through and most of them aren't able to go through it all

Both of the brothers gulp loudly

- Are you going to do it? asks Roderick. Yes or No

- YES SIR! the brothers yell at the same time as they leave to run

[2 Hours Later When Leas And Enzo Both Arrive Back Home]

Enzo and Leas both arrive back home while sweating buckets and panting like there is no tomorrow. When they arrive, they see their father waiting for them in the yard in front of the house with Malick

- Why *huff* *huff* is he here? asks Leas

- *huff* *huff* *huff* *huff* why? says Enzo who is panting way more than Leas is

- When I got to school and saw that you two weren't there, I knew that something interesting was happening. says Malick with a serious expression. I never thought that it would be something like a war though

- Enough. says Roderick. All three of you, sit down

Leas walks for a bit and sits down next to Malick while Enzo uses every single bit of energy left in his body to get next to Leas and lays down

- From now on, I am going to train the three of you to master what makes a knight into a Knight. I am going to teach you how to use Excel. says Roderick
