“What is Arcana doing here? Do you know that Garlando is looking for you all?”
Sakazo nodded.
“Of course, I know. From the spies I spread, I also know that you came here because you were invited to form the TITAN alliance."
Red Hood leaves his stance completely.
“Why do you refuse to join the Titan and instead continue the war with Garlando? This is no longer just about Arcana and Hunter Titans. There are other Titan races out there; we don't even know if they are enemies or not."
Sakazo nodded.
"You don't understand; whatever Garlando plans is not something good."
Red Hood was surprised.
“As long as the Arcana can't prove to be a match for Garlando, I'll have no choice but to fight you.”
Sakazo's expression turned serious.
"Then let me show you something."
Red Hood's expression turned curious. Sakazo took out an old book from under his overcoat and then handed it to Red Hood.
“Read this book.”
Red Hood looked doubtful but then took the book.
Red Hood opens this book and finds that it is just a blank book, but when Red Hood touches it, handwritten writings and pictures begin to appear. This book explains about the Arcana, who are tasked with saving the universe, along with training on how to use their powers, which are different from the usual Titans. Red Hood looked at Sakazo with a curious expression.
“Is this the book of Arcana path?”
Sakazo nodded.
“So, you’ve heard it too? It was proven that the book could only be read when someone from the Titan race touched it. Now, read the message on the last pages of the book.”
Red Hood’s expression turned curious, and he opened the book's last pages.
“This book also says that Titans will become evil when they meet “The First Titan”. Arcana exists to prevent this, or the Titans’ destiny as the “bringer of destruction” will come true.”
Sakazo’s expression turned serious.
“We adhered to the book of Arcana Path given to us regarding what would happen if the warnings were ignored.”
Red Hood’s expression turned even more astonished.
“Perhaps you mean divination? How can you be sure that the contents of this book are true?”
Sakazo’s expression turned deadpan.
“It wasn’t a divination; someone who knows who the First Titan is tried to warn us.”
Red Hood closed the book.
“Whether it’s true or not, doesn’t this book seem like it wants to cover up the truth about the Titans? Aren’t you curious?”
Sakazo smiled.
“Sometimes, some things are better left unknown.”
Red Hood’s expression turned astonished; he held the book in one hand.
“You still haven’t answered my previous question. How do you know if what is written in this book is true?”
Sakazo pointed at the book in Red Hood’s hand.
“On the back cover of the book, there is a palm print; it will react if you touch it with your palm.”
Red Hood checks the back cover of this book and finds a palm print there. Red Hood looked at Sakazo with a doubtful expression.
“Are you kidding me?”
Sakazo smiled.
“Just try it.”
Red Hood sighed; he then touched this left palm print on this book with his right palm.
Soon after, Red Hood’s surroundings turned utterly dark. The surroundings then suddenly became bright again, making Red Hood distracted and trying to shield his eyes with his left arm. Red Hood found himself in a vast place with a grayish-black floor, and a grayish-black ceiling, where the ceiling and floor were not connected with any pillars, and their surfaces were uneven because some parts were higher or lower. Around Red Hood, between the ceiling and floor, is a view of the blue sky with white clouds. Red Hood was surprised as he looked around and saw an old man with long, white hair, a white mustache, and a white beard along his lower jaw that was shaved neatly. This old man was wearing sturdy carved black metal armor covered with a black ankle-length overcoat that was open in the middle, showing his armor. The old man stood quite far from Red Hood and looked at him with a deadpan expression.
“The user of Titan power, let me show you the divination.”
This old man stretched his right hand forward, and suddenly, the grayish-black floor around Red Hood began to be destroyed and move up until finally, it surrounded his body, and the surrounding scene turned dark. Red Hood then saw a glimpse of a part of outer space filled with countless Black Moons of various sizes orbiting a supermassive blackish, lush planet. This blackish planet is so massive that the Black Moons appear very small and gather close together to form the planet’s rings. Red Hood's vision then turned dark.
Red Hood regained consciousness in his original place with a shocked expression, heavy breathing, a slight difficulty just to remain standing, and the book he was holding fell from his grasp to the floor. Sakazo stood before Red Hood; his expression showed that he had already expected what would happen to Red Hood.
“How? Do you believe me now?”
Red Hood looked at Sakazo while trying to catch his breath.
“What happened to me?”
Sakazo crossed his arms.
“The book also has a relic left behind by the person known as “The First Arcana,” the person who first awakened the power of the Arcana Titan.”
Red Hood glared at Sakazo.
“What do you want?”
Sakazo walked over to Red Hood and took the Book of Arcana path on the floor near Red Hood, making Red Hood slightly surprised and moving from his place. Sakazo put this book back under his overcoat.
“I want you to join my Arcana alliance.”
Red Hood was surprised; he then fell silent for a moment to think. Red Hood’s expression turned disturbed.
“Sorry, but until the Arcana can convince me you all can match Garlando, I won’t take a risk to side with you.”
Sakazo was surprised; he then smiled.
“I see; what can we do about it.”
Sakazo took out a smartphone-like device from his overcoat’s inner pocket and handed it to Red Hood, making him slightly surprised.
“You can contact me anytime if you change your mind.”
Red Hood’s expression turned serious, and he then accepted this smartphone. Sakazo smiled.
“Then, I’ll excuse myself.”
Sakazo walked towards this room’s entrance, pressed the control panel button next to the door, which opened this sliding door, and walked out of the room; the door then closed. Red Hood stood silently where he was, then looked at the communication device with a smartphone-like shape in his hand.
In another place, Garlando was standing in an expansive room made of glossy metal before a row of metal framed glass walls, with his body supported by eight metal mechanical spider legs on his back. Garlando watched the view outside his glass walls; dozens of black invader battlecarrier starships were being charged on the dock buildings with something resembling faintly glowing red electricity. Several large transport starplanes shaped as wide and thick rings with four metal spider legs took turns to grab several Titan Gears with fighter starplane-like six wings on their upper backs and loaded them into several black invader battlecarrier starships whose sides opened upwards, revealing several gigantic hangars inside them. Garlando’s gaze turned to the massive turbine in the distance as he thought.
“Titan Gear and our Titan form are made from a raw material called Titan Element, which is processed by the six massive turbines into Titan form or Titan Gear. The Titan form then can merge with the body of the Titan race, which changes our body into a body that resembles a grayish-black armor called a Titan. If Titan wants to control the Titan Gear, our gigantic form, Titan only needs to enter Titan’s chest and fuse with it, and immediately, we can control our gigantic body. From my research, our Titan form can temporarily cure the Black Bruise disease, which causes endless sleep. However, the further I continue my research into the Titan, they hold many other secrets that have not been revealed….”
Garlando watched closely at the fleet preparations before him.
Not long after, someone wore a light brown knee-length overcoat that was opened in the middle, and inside, he wore top clothes of thin black armor, belt, black trousers, and black knee-length armor boots. This man has hair that is slightly long and stylishly styled. His entire face was covered by a black metal mask with glowing patterns around the eyes’ parts. This man in his 30s was Ansaldo, one of the Lords who ruled the planet Arcada. Ansaldo walked close to Garlando, but Garlando still didn’t turn his attention.
“You didn’t come to the meeting again today.”
Garlando still looked at the view outside the glass wall before him.
“There are more important matters here; I want to prepare the Hunter Titan fleet as best and as soon as possible. This journey must be carefully calculated because the Black Moon cannot leave its position. The amount of Titan Gears carried must be estimated and used carefully.”
