The man had finished attaching the wrists to the drums.
Red rope enclosing the ankles "tell me if it's too tight".
knot tightening.
Skin reddening from the friction.
"it's okay" Mika smiled.
Jake was beeing looked down on as he was kneeling to the feet.
Stooding up he watched the attracting art before taking the camera and muttering "we will do it without stabilizer"
He was making some adjusments "don't just stand"
"Act like you have no strenght, like this rope is the only thing holding you up, the rope represent emotional attachment but also dependance, imagine that what you love is what will lead you to your end"
At these words the fox eyes jumped straight up, piercing the lense with an illegible truth hiding behind it.
Their stares were interlinked yet separated by the camera.
The rec button had been triggered.
In the silence, Jake was moving and Mika was playing his role at perfection, it was so perfect that at a moment he really fell on the knees. Soulesss eyes, head facing the floor.
The cameraman went down to have a close shot of the expression.
"all good" Mika looked up "you okay ?"
He noded.
Snow White saved the fox of his restraints "do you always writte the lyrics ?"
"no, everyone does, but this one is mine"
Jake was taken aback by the possesive connotation of this sentence "hm" he made an impressioned expression "well I really like it, still, why this title ? I mean you told me if I listened to it I would understand but I would like to hear it, 'Smiley face got me throwing up my ache'...It is quiet something"
He muttered "I think it's really catchy" while Mika did not gave him an answer.
They stopped here for today then Jake headed to work, new ideas explosing in his mind thinking 'Mika would pull it off'.
His was excited to try out things on him.
It was like he had found a hidden gem disclosing infinites possiblities, neverthless the budget was too low even for half of them.
The second he wasn't over occupied his fingers would tap fastly on whatever was near.
Jake's imagination was running wild, his gears overheating.
Jake meets Mika, Mika meets Jake, and then bit by bit all shatters. A messed up barman/video maker with an invading hobby and a complicated guitarist can engender a puzzling futur, even more when one of them cannot run away from his unhinged mind.
