After an exhausting and difficult trip, Evanora managed to escape from the confines of the Empire's dungeons successfully. With a radiant smile illuminating her face, she joyfully extended her hands towards the moon, eagerly embracing the ethereal brilliance of its pristine white glow. Her pink hair shimmered, adding a touch of radiance to her overall appearance. The contrast between her pink hair and her pale skin further accentuated her complexion, making it appear even lighter.
"Breath of fresh air! I can smell nature!" she said with delight. “And-" Upon detecting the tantalizing aroma of cooked chicken, Evanora promptly assessed her circumstances.
In the distance, her attention was drawn to a campfire. Positioned a few yards away, the flickering flames illuminated the scene, revealing two jail guards engrossed in a moment of leisure. Their enjoyment was evident as they engaged in the activity of roasting chicken over the open flames.
Evanora stated, "That looks so good," as she mentally drooled over the dish.
Flash
A vibrant red and yellow light drew her focus away from the campfire. In the midst of the enveloping darkness, a magnificent display of fireworks illuminated the night sky, casting vibrant bursts of color and light. This awe-inspiring spectacle served as a jubilant celebration, commemorating the triumphant victory over the formidable demon army. The prison from which Evanora had recently escaped was located directly behind the castle. The limited visibility hindered her ability to fully experience the festivals, with the exception of the distant fireworks illuminating the sky.
Her lips curled into a bittersweet smile, tinged with a hint of sadness. ‘I wonder why they can have that festival, huh?’
"Hmm…" Inclining her head to the left, she recalled the presence of the guards.
"Why are the guards here? I thought that everyone had departed to commemorate the empire's victory."
As she pondered the matter further, her thoughts delved into deeper contemplation. A sinister smile slowly crept across her face, hinting at malevolent intent. “Oh well, this makes it easier for me to annoy Gerard!”
With a sense of agility and swiftness, she skillfully maneuvered her path towards the guards, ensuring her movements went undetected. A radiant and expansive smile adorned her face, exuding an air of confidence and positivity.
"Mistress, mistress!" As she continued on her path, a diminutive blood spirit suddenly appeared before her, prompting her to halt her steps.
"Yes?" She inquired, her eyebrows slightly raised in bewilderment.
"Mistress, you must recharge your energy and rest! I can sense that your magic has diminished over the past few days." The blood spirit informed her with concern.
"Yes, I am aware. However, I can still use a small amount of my magic. No need to be concerned, blood spirit." As she walked past him, reassuring him and smiling, she continued towards her destination.

“Hello!” With a radiant smile, the woman's head emerged from the dense foliage, positioned precisely between the two officers. It was clear that she had been concealed within the bush, her head now protruding confidently into view. The guards were filled with a mixture of terror and astonishment, causing them to let out piercing shrieks.
"Ahhhhh!!!"
"AAA GHOOOOST!!"
The guards, filled with a sense of urgency, swiftly moved forward and leaped slightly in response to the unexpected presence. Without wasting any time, they promptly pivoted around to face the intruder, their faces etched with a mixture of fear and apprehension.
“T-The D-Dark Magician!?!?” In a moment of intense revulsion, both individuals emitted piercing screams, their mouths wide open in a display of utter disgust.
“Yes, that’s me. Hello!” Evanora, a young woman with a mischievous glint in her eyes, closed her eyes momentarily, savoring the thrill of her secret adventure. With a wide, radiant grin on her face, she gracefully emerged from the dense foliage of the bush. As she emerged, a cascade of vibrant green leaves clung to her hair, shoulders, and clothing, leaving behind a vivid trail that added an enchanting touch to her appearance.
As soon as they caught sight of her, the two guards swiftly redirected their attention towards her, brandishing their swords in a defensive stance. Evanora, feeling a sense of weariness and disappointment, responded by emitting a deep sigh and allowing her shoulders to slump downward. “You must realize by now that it won't work on me.”
"Relax; I have no intention of killing you. I'm going to need your assistance for just a second.” As soon as she commenced her incantation, a vivid crimson glow surrounded her entire being. As she spoke, her lips moved with a gentle and delicate motion, forming words that were unfortunately unintelligible to those listening.
With the completion of her incantation, the spell's energy surged through her being, empowering her actions. Her hand gracefully extended towards the two guards, poised with purpose. As her eyes fluttered open, a glimmer of determination shone within them, signaling the commencement of her next move. A crimson glow that was coming from her palm pierced the guards' consciousness.

In a distressing scene, she experienced the expulsion of blood through vomiting. A small stream of blood flowed from the corners of her mouth, tracing a path along the outer edges of her lips.

In response to another bout of coughing, she emitted a sarcastic laugh. ‘Perhaps I have reached my limit.’
“Misstress!!”
“Misstress!!
“Evanora, are you okay?"
“I told you to be careful!”
The lesser blood and bone spirits were hovering anxiously around her body.
“Yeah, I’m alright. “ Evanora, with a noticeable change in her complexion, softly uttered under her breath, "Well, barely."
Upon carefully observing the guards once more, she confidently issued her precise and authoritative orders. “Find the Crown Prince and tell him I want to meet him in my prison cell.”
As soon as the command was issued, the guards swiftly pivoted on their heels, their attention fully redirected towards carrying out her instructions.
Her voices stopped them from their tracks.
“Oh,” The moment her voice reached their ears, it had an immediate and powerful effect, causing them to abruptly halt their movements and pay full attention.
She lied about the final section, and the guards left quickly once she gave them their final command.“And tell him I’m pregnant."
‘That should have him rushing to my cell; a child is precious to any empire—especially young males.’ With a labored pace, Evanora, her body weakened and in distress, navigated towards the adjacent woodland. The unsettling sight of blood dripping from her lips accompanied the sound of her coughing as it reverberated through the air. In evident agony, she tightly gripped her stomach, seeking solace amidst the pain.

'It just won't stop!' In the midst of her distress, she attributed her own misfortune to the circumstances, a somber realization that coincided with her continued coughing, which resulted in the expulsion of more blood. 'Perhaps it was a poor idea to utilize my magic...'

As she reached the forest, she swiftly sought refuge behind a sturdy tree. With a sense of urgency, she leaned against it, allowing herself to gradually descend into a seated position.
After experiencing a period of stress and tension, she took a deep breath, expressing a sense of relief as she finally found an opportunity to unwind and take a break.
'Please, Gerard, hurry.' She muttered to herself as she closed her eyes, tired.

Evanora's ears perked up as she eventually caught the distant sound of heavy, stomping footsteps echoing through the prison. As a response, her eyes widened with a quirk, and a mischievous grin spread across her face.
With a determined expression, she gently shut her eyes, delving deep into her inner reservoir of magical prowess. Her focus intensified, honing in on the essence of the young boy's blood that she had previously assimilated. A fiery radiance that reached all the way up to the sky illuminated her entire body.
By utilizing the blood of another individual, she found a more efficient and less demanding method to access and manipulate their physical form using her own magical abilities. Obtaining someone else's blood through this method was often a complex and challenging process. In a similar fashion to her previous encounter with the guards, she would predominantly employ her powers. The activity caused her to become tired more quickly.
In this state, she was completely oblivious to the physical environment surrounding her body.
