                                                                               About Fairylandia

Fairylandia is A large land mass that holds multiple kingdoms. The Oakaria Kingdom is our kingdom. Some of our neighbours like to call us Tree Fairies.

Now there are 5 Golden rules that apply to everyone in Fairylandia.

  1. Do not kill,

  2. Do not cheat,

  3. Do not steal,

  4. Do not lie.

  5. Do not Break Marriage Vows

It is said that if you break one of these rules you lose your wings! And you can never fly again! Not being able to fly can make you dinner for the predator’s bellows, but if you survive you will be stuck living the rest of your life without wings. Your ears become pointy, your skin becomes sickly greyish pale and you get called elves. All Elves are banished to the dark lands.

For cheating! If you don’t want to be with your partner, you break up with them. You do not continue that relationship and cheat!

For Stealing! You can always ask for something, or get help if you need food and water. There is no need to steal!

Lying! You must always tell the truth! If you do not want to say it then keep it to yourself. You don’t want to lose your wings to something as little as lying.

    Despite this, there are exceptions!

You won’t lose your wings if:

  •  you kill in self-defence.

  •  If you are married you can only leave your spouse if He or she hits you and is mean to you. (Mariage vows can only given and be broken by a God Fairy who is able to break that magic bond that keeps the two together)

    The pillars of Fairylandia are:

  • Love

  • Joy

  • Peace

  • Patience

  • Kindness

  • Goodness

  • Faithfulness

  • Gentleness

  • Self-control

These pillars are what make a great fairy. Every fairy in Fairylandia no matter their cultures or kingdoms strives to unlock every pillar within themselves to become their best selves. Scholars and theorists say that the reason why every fairy no matter what type of fairy, follows the 5 golden rules and the pillars is because long ago all fairies were one people before they decided to split off and create different kingdoms.

Today they may look different from one another, speak different languages and have different cultures but they all follow the same rules.

    Map:

FairyLandia consists of 4 different fairy kingdoms. Fairy Nomads and the Darklands are not considered kingdoms.

MerLandia consists of many Mermaid cities and kingdoms but due to the depth of the ocean, the only city ever recorded or has had contact with fairies from Merlandia is Oceavia Kingdom which can be noticeable from a boat due to shallow and clear waters.
