“Damn, my fist feels so heavy.”
Garlando stretched his left hand and pointed his left palm at the wall behind Titan Sakazo. Immediately after, the wall behind Titan Sakazo was destroyed and moved forward fast, hitting Titan Sakazo’s back, and brought him crashing into the metal wall on the right.
Titan Sakazo used both hands to hold the wall before him to prevent his body from being crushed. Titan Sakazo gripped the metal wall in front of him and cracked it; light blue flame from both his palms and arms immediately shot out at this wall, making this wall crack even more and burn with fire at the cracks. This wall then shattered into pieces and created a light blue flame explosion that spread in all directions. Seeing that the flame explosion would hit him, Garlando moved the eight metal mechanical spider legs on his back to close together and formed something resembling large metal wings and used them to block the flame explosion, which stunned him for a moment. Titan Sakazo managed to free himself from Garlando’s attack and used this chance to run away from Garlando with a hard starting stomp that destroyed the metal floor around Titan Sakazo.
Garlando immediately chases Sakazo by sliding on the corridor floor like before. Sakazo uses the communication link device inside his Titan armored helmet.
“Now, pick me up at the place we planned.”
Elsewhere, Fujitsu, who had been on alert, immediately reacted when he heard the call from Sakazo.
“I’ll be right there.”
Fujitsu started his armored flying wing’s engine, a type of personnel carrier fighter starplane, and flew it away from here at a low altitude from the Black Moon’s surface.
Fujitsu flew his starplane expertly, avoiding the many hill-like sections shaped like carved boxes, some of which rose very high. Even though flying a starplane at a low altitude was difficult given the Black Moon surface conditions, Fujitsu did not raise his starplane altitude to avoid Black Moon surface defenses or being detected by the enemy too fast. On the screen next to Fujitsu, the condition of the starplane he was flying was displayed, along with other information like controls, notifications if the starplane was in stealth mode, etc. The starplane flew towards one of the huge ten-story buildings made of Titan Element.
Back on Titan Sakazo, he continued running quickly to avoid Garlando’s fast movements. Garlando slid while pointing his palms toward the right and left walls of the corridor, causing them to dent, crack, and destroy, then thrown towards Titan Sakazo to pin him down; even the floor he was running on began to crumble, dent, crack, and destroyed, then rise to create obstacles or to crush him. However, Titan Sakazo can continue to dodge and occasionally punch hard the wall or floor thrown toward him or obstruct him to destroy them while using his light blue flame control to clear his path, which also creates light blue flame explosions with every fist or kick that collided with the obstacles. Titan Sakazo reached the end of the corridor at the T-junction and ran to the left; Garlando continued chasing him.
Titan Sakazo ran along a corridor with rows of metal-framed window panes. While running, Sakazo could see if the starplane that Fujitsu’s flying was flying low and approaching this building, lower than the armored laser dual cannons and armored laser dual rotary cannons, which have a height equivalent to three stories building around Black Moon’s surface.
Garlando continued to chase Titan Sakazo by sliding and using the metal floor or wall around Titan Sakazo to block his path, but Titan Sakazo could always avoid them or sometimes destroy them like before. Several times, Titan Sakazo deflected metal walls that were thrown or moved at him just by pointing his palm at the metal, but it was not as strong as Garlando’s Titan Element control.
Back in the starplane, Fujitsu flew his starplane expertly and carefully, approaching the floor level where he saw the Titan Sakazo running away from Garlando’s pursuit. Fujitsu was surprised.
“Damn, is that Garlando?”
Titan Sakazo answered via the communication line.
“Be careful not to get too close to him.”
Fujitsu’s expression turned serious.
“Understood.”
While running, Titan Sakazo saw that from the opposite direction in the distance of this corridor, Ansaldo, with metal mechanical legs that resembled spider legs that formed something like folded-backwards large wings on his back, was running towards Titan Sakazo. Titan Sakazo thought.
“It’s getting even more interesting.”
Fujitsu flew his starplane close to the ninth floor of the building where Sakazo was running. Fujitsu’s starplane flew next to Titan Sakazo and followed his movements outside rows of window panes. Seeing the starplane’s arrival, Titan Sakazo jumped out to the right and shattered the window panes.
Titan Sakazo holds on to the open back door of the starplane that forms a bridge leading out and stairs. Titan Sakazo immediately climbed up and kneeled while holding on to the rear door bridge’s railing; the starplane then flew away from the building and got higher. Titan Sakazo watched Garlando slide down the corridor and then stopped at the broken window panes he had broken through.
Garlando looked around; armored dual cannons and armored dual rotary cannons that scattered on the Black Moon’s surface began to move quickly and steadily, aiming at Titan Sakazo’s starplane and firing at the starplane repeatedly. Titan Sakazo had already expected this and was ready; he then stretched both hands and pointed his palms forward.
“Phoenix Shield.”
Light blue flames exploded and spread rapidly from both of Garlando’s arms and hands, forming a phoenix of light blue burning flames much larger than this starplane Titan Sakazo was on, and the flame phoenix connected to Sakazo’s hands and arms. This phoenix then used its two huge wings to embrace and become a shield to protect the starplane. The laser shots from the heavy weapons on the Black Moon’s surface hit this blue phoenix flame and exploded, but it didn’t affect it much. The cannons and rotary cannons' laser shots were unable to penetrate this light blue flame body of the phoenix even if they continued shooting at it. Inside the starplane, Fujitsu grinned.
“They need more than that to stop Arcana.”
Fujitsu was sure they would get away. On the other hand, Titan Sakazo was looking sharply at Garlando.
“Don’t be careless; we have not escaped yet.”
Fujitsu grinned.
“We already planed this; there are no Titan Gears or starplanes nearby that can catch us.”
Their starplane began to dive upward and rose higher.
Ansaldo, who had been running from the opposite direction to Titan Sakazo, arrived near Garlando and watched as Titan Sakazo’s starplane was getting higher and further away.
“Damn, they escaping.”
Garlando replied.
“Our starplane fleet won’t have time to catch them, except for the Titan Gear. It’s a shame there’s no Titan Gear ready within close enough range here to catch them, but I’ll try something else.”
Garlando said as he stretched his hands and pointed his palms towards one of the nearby abysses; Ansaldo watched him with a curious expression.
In the abyss, one of the Titan Gears displayed on the top row of the abyss wall began to react and forcibly released itself from the clamps supporting it on the gigantic display slot, causing these clamps to be destroyed and fall. Titan Gear uses additional armor of sharp claws on its hands and feet to grip the abyss wall and quickly climbed upwards. Parts of the abyss wall and the place to display Titan Gear’s body, which was destroyed, fell due to Titan Gear’s actions. Titan Gear continued to climb quickly, leaving the display slot, which had gigantic fighter starplane-like six wings that were twice Titan Gear’s body size displayed on the display slot above the place where the Titan Gear’s body was being displayed and then passed buildings that resembled the port and the control building above the wings.
In a short time, this Titan Gear, which has a height of 328-foot-high (100 meters), climbed out of the abyss then immediately stood up, then used its right hand to grab the starplane that the Titan Sakazo was on, and managed to grip the phoenix’s body firmly before it even reached the highest limit of this Titan Gear could reach, to the point of shaking their starplane violently, making Sakazo’s expression behind his Titan form turned shocked, as well as Fujitsu. Titan Gear then moved its left hand to clamp the phoenix with both hands to destroy it along with the starplane; the movement of the Titan Gear’s hands also rose higher following this starplane slowed down movement because Titan Gear held them. Titan Sakazo thought.
“Damn, the phoenix shield won’t be able to withstand the Titan Gear’s power.”
