The wind was cold as shadowpaw explored the starclan hunting grounds. they looked very diffrent from what se was used to, she tought about her apprenticeship with silverclaw and how she died right infront of him. im sorry silverclaw,she'd think.i hsould have listened to you and stayed in camp with the others,i was dumb to follow you to the border patrol.she'd flatten her ears and continue looking around.these hunting grounds look beautiful at night.she'd think as she looked up.she felt her eyes closing as she dozed off in the clearing,waking up.she decided to explore a bit to get her mind off of things.she found out how big the territory really is and how it never ends.she decided to return to the starclan camp.she looked down at the living cats, sad that se was so far from her old clanmates now.when arriving at camp a brown tom walked up to her''hello shadowpaw!''the tom meowed.''hello oakstar,its nice to see you again''she'd meow and bow down.''no need to bow,im not the leader of oakclan anymore afterall.''the tom meowed, smiling softly.''well thats true but i still remember you as the leader''she'd meow.''very well then, want to get some prey?''he'd meow as he flicked his tail toward the stack of fresh kill hidden in the bushes''sure!''shadowpaw would meow as she darted to the fresh kill pile''last one there is a mouse brain!''she'd meow a bit before making it to the fresh kill pile..the two sat down and took some fresh kill.shadowpaw chose a plump vole and dragged it out of the pile.she had totally forgotten to send a message to oakclan and was eating with the former leader instead..''have you sent the prophecy to your brother yet?''asked oakstar.shadowpaw suddenly jumped up''whats wrong?''asked oakstar as he tilted his head to one side.''i totally forgot to send the warning!''she'd meow quickly''well then you better be fast, he's gonna wake up soon''the old tom meowed compfortingly.''i will!sorry for this short reunion but im running out of time''she'd apolagize''no need to apolagize!happened to me on my first day too''he'd yowl after her but she was already too far to hear him.
