In the throne room, the restless king is with Daister, Buko, Miko, and Lambao.

"What do you mean that you were able to locate only one of the three families?" says Daister trying to keep composure.

"The other houses are vacant," replies Buko. 

Tate steps towards the warriors, fuming as he says. "I want them all located and their identities verified before the end of the day." 

Kulu walks in and says, "My king there are people here to see you." 

Tate sharply replies "It can wait."

"But my king they have been here all day," says Kulu softly. 

The king turns to Daister and says, "Make sure we find this man, this could be very dangerous for the kingdom." And turns again to the Kulu and says, "Okay send them in."

Kulu opens the door, Tsai and Lefa walk in "Peace be to you my king." as they bow. 

Daister shouts at the three warriors. "why are you still here? get going."

Buko's eyes stay still fixed on Tsai. "he is the man..." he says.

Lambao asks "The man?"

Buko continues "...the man we've been looking for."

The king's frustration subsides and offers a seat to Tsai. 

"Thank you for seeing me my king," says Tsai as he takes a seat.

"I'm glad that you are here. I've been looking for you all day. I wanted to thank you for saving my men, potentially my 

kingdom." says Tate who is now calm.

"My pleasure, my king," replies Tsai. 

"so tell me what brings you here?" asks Tate.

Tsai adjusts his seat and says "Me and my son have been living as nomads, secluded with no village nor a kingdom, but two weeks ago our shelter was attacked, and we escaped only with our lives. I thought of finding another secluded location but I have to think about my son that's why I'm here asking for a place to stay." 

"why here?" asks Tate.

"In all my travels I have heard how people talk about this kingdom, and how peaceful it is," says Tsai.

Tate gestures at Tsai. "And this is your son?"

"Yes my king, I beg for your mercy to give us a shelter and home. I know that I don't have anything to offer, but I beg you, my king," says Tsai with a moving passion. 

Tate takes a moment to think and replies "No you are wrong you have something, I'm willing to give you a place if you in turn give me your fighting skills and join the kingdom's warriors."

Daister utterly shocked "What!..." he exclaims.

"But my king..." responds Tsai who also appears shocked.

Tate asks Tsai "Would you be my second commando?" like he doesn't recognize their shock.

"...My king you can't," says Daister

Tate says to Tsai "You have a place only if you become a commando of my kingdom's warriors."

"I'll be honoured my king" replies Tsai. 

Mme enters the throne room with her sister by her side carrying the king's supper. "My lady, My lady." say the men in respect.

"I thought you hated this place," says Tate to Mme.

Mme places Tate's supper on a table and says "I do, but what should I do if you lock yourself all day, and don't even come to 

the dining room for supper."

"Oh supper, I'm coming besides I'm done here." says Tate as he stands and instructs his Kulu "Go show him his new house."

"Who is he?" asks Mme. 

"my husband that's who he is." is a repeating statement in Letwa's head.

Tate replies "That's our new second commando he just arrived yesterday, good man... raising a child on his own."

Letwa asks "Where is his wife?"

"She passed when the boy was just an infant," says Tate.

"that's so sad I'm sorry for your loss...every child needs a mother you know," says Letwa as she puts her hand on Lefa's shoulder.

"Where is he going to stay?" asks Mme.

Tate replies "Our late second commando's house."

"That house has been empty for a long time are you sure it's livable?" asks Mme.

Tate replies "It should be."

"Let me go show him the house, plus it's on my way home," says Letwa.

Tate with a surprised look "But you live on the opposite side of the kingdom."

"Just let her," says Mme shaking her head.

"fine," says Tate.

"Thank you sis," says Letwa.

"Follow me please," says Letwa to Tsai as she exists.
