The misty mountain raises straight up, high into the sky, like a gigantic pillar. At the top you see the mist static like a wall.
Who walks out of the bamboo forest, the clearing in front of the mountain is covered in ash and dust. The floor is covered in thick pieces of something that looks like tarps. Theres just too many and they are all old and ripped.
She gets to the vertical wall, it’s made of rock covered in the same dirt and ash as the ground. The base has many pointy rocks that she clears easily as she starts to climb. The wind is blowing the dust around making her sneeze, Who covers her face with the visor the Queen gave her. It seems to keep the air clean in front of her face as she starts climbing up the dusty wall.
As she climbs she sees the dusty ripped tarps clinging to the wall, there are several bushy mounds as well.
As she climbs there is a feeling of unease, she is going to face the giant creature, but there is something else that seems to be getting at her.
She struggles to grab onto something as she’s climbing over one of the old tarps. The more she climbs the more that they seem to be. She sees a spiky bush up above and makes an effort to jump and grab it.
As she pulls herself up there is something soft close to her left hand, she wipes the dust from it and quickly covers her mouth to silence her scream.
Its an eye
Holding herself with one arm she realizes there are two giant eyes on the bush, they have the foggy mist the spiders had in theirs.
Who realizes this is not a bush, its a bugs head, a big bug, and now she knows what the old dusty tarps are.
They are wings
She is holding onto the head of a giant moth like creature, that has been perched onto that wall for so long, its wings are like ripped tarps.
She looks down and sees the rocks far at the bottom, and suddenly, the giant moth comes alive opening its gigantic wings, full of tears and holes, Who screams and lets go, she falls back but her leg is caught up under one of the wing arms.
The moth flaps its wings and starts flying upwards in a giant cloud of dust
“Not again!” Who yells as she gets dragged upwards the mountain
Besides her a couple more moths wake up and start flying up.They look like zombie moths, their empty foggy eyes show no emotion as they fly upwards flapping their ripped wings.
Who sees she is almost reaching the edge of the misty mountain, she could jump but she cant get loose. She struggles to release her foot from the ripped wing.
The moths are speeding up.
After a couple seconds that seem like forever they arrive to the dim clouds in the sky.
Its all foggy and nothing is visible.
You have to go down! Who yells as she is dragged upwards into the sky what it seems like forever
Darkness is felt cold and silent. The wing flapping noise is gone, there is no more mist.
Who feels a bit weightless and can see the giant moth is now motionless as it floats and drifts on a sea of emptiness.
“Oh dear we are in space!”
Beneath her, the clouds are almost translucent, Who can see the fog on top of the misty mountain. Seems like the thickness of the fog moved towards the rear, where she was climbing. And besides it, the green bamboo forest and further in front a big sea.
“Wake up! wake up!” She yells tapping on the moth’s head, but its eyes are empty now, whatever was holding the moth’s prisoner has let go, and the moth is finally resting.
Who looks around and sees the other moths floating adrift as well
“Ohhhhh what have I done? where did I got myself now!? She screams.
She struggles to release her foot from the moth’s wing, “Come on come on!” She says “It’s not like I can go somewhere ok just let me go!”
She finally gets loose, but then her heart stops as she sees shes floating away from the moth. She quickly kicks around trying to swim with no luck, but a lucky stretch barely reaches the moth’s wing and she clings onto it.
CRUNCH!!
“Aieeee!!” Who screams after hearing the noise, there is a giant tardigrade munching at the moth’s wings very close to her.
“Go away!! Don’t eat me!!” She screams as the chubby giant tardigrade is almost finishing up eating the moth. Who lets go of the moth and now is floating in space, terrified as she sees the tardigrade thats at least twice the size as Burt’s cart, finishing the last bit of the moth’s head
“Sigh, what now” she says as she sees the giant tardigrade starts making a rumbling noise. It starts inflating and it seems like it is going to burst. She looks around and sees all the other moths have been eaten as well by a pack of giant tardigrades, all of them are increasing in size
Who breathes deeply and then “AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH”
