Not long after, Furano’s smartphone-like communication device rang, causing her to come to her senses. Furano put her handgun back into the holster and took out her smartphone from the inner pocket of her armored cloak. “Leader” was written on her smartphone screen as the contact name who called her. Furano touched the smartphone screen, and not long after, a hologram of a man standing nearby. This man wore the same cloak that Furano wore, with the hood part of his cloak also covering the back of his head to the top of his head, and his entire face was covered with a black metal mask with fiery red patterns on the eyes part of the mask.
Behind his cloak, this man wore a white shirt, black trousers, and black boots. Around his waist is a baldric belt for carrying weapons on his lower back, in which both his hands are covered with gauntlets up to the elbows. This gauntlet has sturdy blunt carvings, and the fingers have sturdy sharp carvings that are also on the tip of each finger as claws. Throughout the gauntlet, some carvings form patterns. On the back of his hand is another solid gold carving, and along the top of the gauntlet is a golden carving that resembles a sword. Along the left side of the left gauntlet up to the elbow was a sharp blade covered in armor solidly carved into its surface. Along the right side of the right gauntlet up to the elbow was a sharp blade covered in armor solidly carved into its surface. Both gauntlet’s blade was wide enough to cut when his arms were moved to slash. The right-hand gauntlet is faint blue, while the left is yellowish red. This man was the leader of the Black Cloak organization. The Cloaked Man said.
“What about your investigation results?”
Furano’s expression turned slightly doubtful.
“I’m still working on it; I’ll contact you soon if there’s any progress.”
The Cloaked Man replied.
“We cannot ignore this warning any further, “MARS” is also always on alert. The other members are also doing their best.”
Furano nodded.
“I understand; I’m just still not used to using the system.”
The Cloaked Man nodded.
“We have discussed this with the other members; what happened with the Wizards may give us important clues about what the Multiverse really is. I’m counting on you.”
Furano smiled.
“I will do my best.”
Furano appeared to remember something.
“By the way, what about you?”
The Cloaked Man looks doubtful.
“I’m dealing with something important here right now; maybe I won’t be able to go there for some time....”
Furano’s expression turned curious.
In a space very far from Earth, the cloaked man was standing on a massive battlecarrier starship with a shape resembling an armored flying wing while carrying a smartphone-like communication device in his left hand. The cloaked man noticed the coming of a massive battlecarrier starship with a shape resembling an armored fighter jet, which then grazed the starship where he was standing, causing severe shocks and shattering the parts of the starship that grazed each other. The severe shocks that occurred made the cloaked man falter and try to maintain his balance.
Back to Furano, her expression changed in astonishment when she saw the cloaked man's hologram become blurry for a few moments, and he struggled to maintain his balance. The cloaked man turned to Furano.
“I’m in a difficult situation right now; I’ll go first.”
Furano nodded with an astonished expression.
“Yes, of course.”
The Cloaked Man turned off his communication device, which immediately made the hologram of himself vanish. Furano put her smartphone back into her cloak's inner pocket, stood up from her seat, and then hurried away from here.
Furano walked on another part of the pedestrian road made of glossy stones, lit by a row of lamp posts in the middle of this road, with various kinds of shops and buildings on the right and left, with the tallest building only four stories high. Most buildings here were closed; Furano walked alone with only a few pedestrians passing her, most of whom noticed her because of her cloak appearance. A black panel floats before Furano, which follows wherever she walks. People who pass by pay attention to Furano do not see this panel; only Furano can see it. This black panel shows a map of this city. “Ding!” A sound similar to a smartphone notification sound was heard not long after. Furano’s attention was drawn to another black panel before her, which also displayed white writing:
[Quest Offer (pick up time remaining 00:59, touch for details)]
[Minimize] [Discard]
The remaining pick-up time written on the black panel is only one minute and continues to decrease, indicating that if Furano does not take this quest, it will be automatically deleted. Furano was slightly surprised to see the notification on this panel; she then touched this notification message, and the writing on the black panel before her changed:
[Quest Details]
[Help the lost wizard return to his earth (second earth) (time remaining to accept quest 00:30)]
Accept the quest? [Yes] [Discard] [Minimize]
Furano crossed her arms while thinking for a moment.
“A lost wizard? This quest might have something to do with the investigation I’m currently carrying out; I’d better take it.”
Furano pressed [Yes] writing on this panel when there were only five seconds left to take the quest. The black panel display before Furano then changed.
[Quest in progress*]
[Follow the direction marked on the map, and rescue the wizard.]
[Minimize]
The map displayed on the black panel has instructions like GPS to get to Furano’s destination. Furano’s expression changed in astonishment; she quickly ran away from this place while paying attention to the black panel before her.
“Open inventory in a new panel.”
Immediately after that, another black panel appeared at the front to the left of Furano; this black panel showed pictures of several items that Furano owned, arranged in a picture of nine boxes:
[Inventory]
[Image of a flying broomstick x1] [Image of a medallion x1] [Image of a glass bottle shaped like an Erlenmeyer flask filled with light green liquid x2]
*(Note: Nine item slots available, five per item type).
*(Tip: Go to the chest in the safe town to store more items).
Furano touched the image of a flying broomstick; the image of it then enlarged and filled most of the black panel screen, along with an explanation.
(Image of a flying broomstick with a black handle carved into a sturdy shape, the black broomstick fibers tied neatly to form something resembling a brush for writing, and there are two leg supports x1).

Furano put her left hand into the broomstick image displayed on this black panel, and her hand entered this black panel. Furano pulled her hand out, now also holding a flying broomstick with a shape similar to the image of the flying broomstick on this black panel. Furano pulled her broomstick until it came completely out of this black panel. This black panel again shows pictures of items in Furano’s inventory, but the flying broomstick picture is no longer there.
“Close Inventory panel.”
Immediately after that, the black panel showing the contents of Furano’s inventory vanished. While still running, Furano jumped and got on the flying broomstick in her left hand, then accelerated her flight speed and got higher.
Furano flies at a height that exceeds the average height of the surrounding buildings. Furano arrived at a six-story office building in a modern classic-style building, which was the place indicated by the map on the black panel floating to her right. Furano got off her broomstick before the office building and carried it in her left hand. Furano walked towards the office building’s entrance and tried to open one of the double doors, which turned out to be locked. Furano drew her handgun from its holster and aimed it at the doorknob.
“Unlock.”
The patterns on her handgun started to glow; she then fired it at the doorknob before her. This gun fired a light that shot quickly towards the doorknob with not too loud gunshot sound, and then the sound of the door lock opening was heard. After the gun is fired, the patterns on the handgun no longer glow. Furano returned her handgun to its holster, opened the door before her, and walked in.
Back sometime before, Alton, whom Daganzo and his comrades were chasing, had just entered the office building after breaking through one of the window panes. Alton then ran down the stairs towards one of the double-door entrances of this building. Alton stopped a few meters from the double doors entrance because the door before him was being opened. The one who opened the door was Furano, making Alton slightly surprised. Furano looked at Alton with a curious expression.
“So, you are the lost wizard?”
