Chapter cover art: Kuroki dressed like the queens guard holding up a magnifying glass as he walks behind Ranmaru dressed up like sherlock holmes. Ashuri is behind Ranmaru, dressed like Watson with a pair of floppy puppy ears on. 

Panel: Ranmaru and Ashuri are sitting in protection against the Salem Church arts class. The classroom is large, like a mini amphitheater. The teacher’s desk was in front of the massive blackboard, covered in different types of scrolls, books, maps and a large crystal ball.

Panel: The room is shadowy, the seats like cracked marble, the desktops like marbled stone countertops with darker mist like swirls along them. They each had a small space where a student could put their belongings under the surface.

Ranmaru: This is the only class that desk can’t get into.

Panel: Ranmaru’s facial expression is one of extreme relief, Ashuri smirks at him, leaning with his own cheek in his own hand.

Ashuri: This class has special wards against all kinds of arts, so of course.

Ranmaru: Yes you’re right, guess I’m just tired. It has weird text on it in a language I've never seen before.

Panel: Ashuri looks at him with concern, Ranmaru’s forehead is on his table area as he sighs.

Ashuri: Why are you tired? Oh really? That sounds really stressful, hopefully its not cursing you or anything, tell your cousin.

Panel: Ranmaru lifted his head up and frowned, reaching to slide a hand through his own hair. Ashuri stares expectantly, another student sitting next to Ranmaru’s other side, pokes him asking for a pencil in small text.

Ranmaru: I will soon, Solomon is busy right now so I haven't seen him recently. I haven’t been sleeping well at all, I keep having weird nightmares.

Panel: He smiles at the other boy and turns to him passing him a pencil smiling with small text from him responding, here ya go in small text before he turns back to Ashuri.

Ranmaru: I’ll be fine. You guys wanted to hang out after school right?

Panel: Ashuri nodded, looking through his open magic textbook.

Ashuri: Yea, meet me and Yowami by the front gate ok?

Panel: Ranmaru grinned and nodded before a spell the other student was doing caught his attention. Saga is in this panel but his face is obscured, focus and zoom in on Ranmaru’s surprised expression as he looks at him.
