Panel: Ranmaru watches the other boy trying to enchant a piece of paper he'd cut into a card shape using his fingers. Purple mist flowed out of the black eyed boy's fingers.

Ranmaru: That must be really hard to do without a wand, you new here too?

Saga: Yes I just transferred here yesterday, didn't start until today however. This spell is something I've been working on for a long time.

Ranmaru: Wait are you-

Panel: Saga was focusing extremely hard on the paper, leaning down to try to perform the spell again, the paper turned into a more solid, trading card like version of itself, a blob monster on it with a text box underneath it, but it quickly shifted back into a plain piece of grey construction paper.

Saga: A Home Magi? Yea.

Ranmaru: Oh cool, I was for a while myself.

Caption: Home Magi are kid to teen witches and wizards who are homeschooled. Their parents have to be extra rich nobles to be allowed to get away with doing that. 

Caption: Ruriko and I would still be Home Magi if our parents wanted us to, but my father says we have to stay humble… Mingle with regular people,  be regular people...it really sucks.

Panel: Saga looked up at Ranmaru with a microscopic smile as he sat up and put his paper away.

Saga: So, are you guys new here too? And aren’t you-

Panel: Ashuri, who was chewing on the back of his pencil, leaned past Ranmaru to look at Saga curiously.

Ashuri: Yea we're new here, just started two vikas ago.

Panel: Ranmaru sighed before he smiled and spoke

Ranmaru: I'm Kuho Ranmaru, yes I’m a prince of Neo Japan but shhh! How did you know? that's Yūsha Ashuri, you are?

Panel: Saga's expression was unreadable as he replied while pulling out his own textbook.

Saga: Chiu Saga. Pleasant to meet you both. Also, it’s not hard to notice someone talking to their dad on a holographic television projected off the side of a building.

Panel: Ranmaru grins sheepishly and scratches the back of his head, sweat dropping.
