The lid to the kids' glass enclosure opened after a relatively short amount of time, startling Carnelian and Jade as the alien's sharp-clawed hands gently placed Agate on the ground, his garments haphazardly put back onto his body. Shifted and scrunched up in places showing his bare skin. Jade's eyes carefully followed the aliens' claws as they left the container but Carnelian was focused on Agate this whole time. She looked up to the top of the container and didn't make eye contact but was just looking at it; Carnelian only took a glance and quickly made his way over to Agate and fixed his clothing. A bead of cold sweat dripped down her face as she took in the alien's full appearance for one of the first times. It was large and had this horrifying feel to it. The unfeeling cold dusty purple of its armor sent a shiver down her spine, thick antenna that flicked and twitched from its head, glowing blue markings at its tips, the weird stretchy skin that sprouted out of the armored chest and formed into its abdomen, it was scrunched and stretched as it moved around to walk away, it's long strong legs covered in that same dusty armor that had sharp points that could cut if touched, and its thick tail that protruded out of its back and came to a sharp point.

Its appearance as a whole rubbed her the wrong way. But with it leaving she quickly got up and ran over to the two of them again, got on her knees, and was moving Agate

"Hey- hey, Agate! Wake up!" She stopped when he didn't wake up and turned to face Carnelian who was taking a few deep breaths. When done he looked at her and she spoke. "Why isn't he waking up huh?"

He sighed and shrugged, "No idea- but I checked and it looks like he's fine." He said, glancing over at him, Jade doing the same. "Plus from what I saw it looked like he was getting fixed up or something."

She nodded and stood up. "Help me move him farther back." She instructed, leaning down to pick up his legs. He nodded and carefully put his hands under his armpits and on the count of three they both lifted. Jade strained slightly as they moved him back to where they were previously sitting. Setting him as gently as possible on the floor.

When finished she groaned, put her hands on her back, and started to stretch. Moving around trying to crack it.

"Fuuck- this isn't doing me any good!!" She shouted and raised her arms, hands extended to the top of their cage.

He sighed and slid to the floor, back against the cold metal wall. "Yeah I get it...how- how long have we been here?" He questioned, curiosity and a slight hint of worry coated his words.

She stopped complaining and shrugged. "Hell if I know, actually hold on." she said, holding up a finger and walking over to their bags and digging into them, "it should be here somewhere- Ah! Here it is!" She explained with a smile, "Haha!! Now for the time... it is- 2:30 am."

"Oh-" He wasn't too happy to hear that, and neither was she.

Her smile disappeared and she just put the phone away and walked over to Carnelian.

"It's apparently late, not sure when those alien dudes go to sleep..."

He nodded his head slightly.

"So wanna try and sleep?"

They both just looked at each other, the pure stress in every fiber of their being is loud and clear to the both of them. But he just nodded, standing up and getting their bags and putting them in a free corner. Then coming back to move Agate.

"Let's move him to-"

She cut him off and pointed to the bags. "Dude just bring them over here. Like what? I'm not moving him again, he's heavy as hell."

He just looks at her dumbfounded and then his face goes slightly red as he walks back over to the bags. Picking them up and bringing them over to them. Placing Agate's bag full of things under his head and sat their bags next to each other. Jade quickly laid down and put her head on the bag and he soon followed. They laid facing each other, looking into each other's eyes when she spoke up.

"... these things are hard as shit-" And it was a complaint.

"Well-" he paused, "actually yeah no these are horrible pillows." He chuckled, still laying his head in it.

Jade on the other hand just removed the bag and laid it on her arm. He smiled and did the same, soon moving over to her and snuggling up on her. She smiled and with her free arm hugged him tight. She spoke out to Carnelian and Agate.

"Goodnight y'all."

He felt all his stress wash out of him as he was held by his love. He used his free arm and held her tight to him as well.

"Goodnight too sweetie."
