– Tape Begins –

// A mysterious, seemingly unfriendly, but non-aggressive voice speaks to Just. A foggy, tight hallway is shown on screen, leading to an elevator further down, lights flickering on and off that darken and brighten the room, and a piece of soft background music plays. //

Ominous Voice

"No One Is Here For You, Just. You Are Now Completely Alone. What Will Your God Do To Help You? Wake Up And Realize That In Here-- There Is No Hope."

// Just lies back against a wall, his left hand on the floor and his right on his lap, slowly waking up from his sleep as he sits up against the wall, the mysterious voice narrating.// 

"Just Wakes Up In A Corridor. The Sounds Of The Light Flickering Above Him. The Thick Fog Covered The Floor. He Stands Up, Looking Around, And Realizes-- He Is All Alone."

// Just places his hand on his right head; underneath his mask, his eyes are twitching due to having a headache, gritting his teeth as he breathes heavily, confused by an unknown voice. //

"My fucking head... Who in the f-. What the-. Who the fuck is that?"

// The mysterious voice speaks again, showing the elevator at the end of the hallway. //

Ominous Voice

"At The End Of The Corridor Lies An Elevator."

// Just heart started to beat fast, the tape becoming blurry as it simulated his heart racing. //

"You Can Hear Just Heart Beat Fast, Knowing What L-."

// Just interrupts the voice, confused, his hand still on his head. //

Just

"Hey! Who the hell are you? Why do I hear your voice inside my head?"

// The voice responded, annoyed at Just. //

Ominous Voice

"You Interrupted Me While I am Narrating. How Rude. But To Answer Your Question, Think Of Me As-."

// The mysterious voice appears in front of Just, a slightly taller figure than Just wearing an utterly black attire; not even being able to visualize what the figure is wearing, but is noticeably wearing a T.V. Head with white circular eyes and a slight grin on the T.V. screen. //

"That Irritating Itch On Your Scalp That Always Come Back To Bother You."

// Just speaks to the TV-Head figure at the other end of the hallway in front of the elevator across from him, shaking his head. //

Just

"Look. I have a very important journey to go through, so could you please just go away."

// The TV-Head figure declined. //

TV-Head

"No. I Won't, Just How D.E.F.E.A.T. Never Left Soren Alone. I Am Bound To You. Besides, It Never Hurts To Have Some Company When Venturing In An Unknown Environment, All By Yourself."

// Just showed annoyance in his voice, clenching his fists. //

Just

"Fine..."

// The T.V. narrates again, Just slowly approaching the elevator. //

TV-Head

"Just Walk Towards The Elevator, He Sighs Heavily As He Presses The Button To Call The Elevator."

// Moments later, his heart started to pound; he placed his hand on his chest as he began to sweat, becoming nervous as he breathed heavily. The mysterious figure toys with him. //

"I Can Hear Your Heart Beat Just, You Are Scared. D.E.F.E.A.T. Will Be Delighted To See You As You Enter Into His Domain. Nothing To Defend Yourself With. All You Can Do Is Run And Hide. So Much For Being A Disciple Of Your God. A Coward. A Scared Boy."

// Just reassured the T.V. voice. //

Just

"The experience that I will deal with during this journey will help me become a man. I just know it. Put me down all you want. I have God to--."

// The unfriendly T.V. cuts off Just from finishing his sentence with a snarky tone as he appears behind Just. //

TV-Head

"Right... Your God... Helping You. As If That Cross You Got On Will Help You Against The Horrors You Will Face. Pathetic You Are Just, Pathetic. I Wonder How This Journey Will End."

// Silence fills the room, but only for a moment until a ding sound emits from the elevator, and the T.V. speaks. //

"The Elevator Finally Arrived. Slowly, The Door Opens, Inviting Just Into His Doom. He Walks In And Turned Around, The Door Closing As It Devours Just Into His Never-Ending Nightmare. He Holds Onto His Cross As He Prays To His God."

// The music stops, and everything is quiet as Just leans his back against the elevator wall, taking a deep breath, praying. //

Just

"God, I'm scared of what lies ahead of me. The horrors I'll face as I venture into Soren's Darkest Mind, I'm trying my best to be strong; I must be strong because you've given me a second chance in life to become my very best self. I feel like... I feel like I'm not smart enough, brave enough to continue this journey. But I know your plan isn't to harm me but to help me grow as a person."

// Just voice started to quiver, tears forming in his eyes as he held his Cross tighter. //

"Please God, my Lord, don't leave me astray, don't aban-... Don't abandon me to those that seek to end me. I can feel them gripping into my mind, trying to frighten me. Please give me the strength that I need to keep moving forward to save Soren to become a man. I dedicate my life to you, God; help me show them who I am... Who Just is."

// He began to sniffle, tears flowing down his cheeks like a waterfall. //

"In Jesus' name, I pray, Amen."

// The screen goes black as he cries to himself; there is silence, but only for a moment. The sweet sound of the elevator chiming plays, and the T.V. speaks, enticing Just with even more fear. //

TV-Head

"We've Arrived..."

// The TV-Head figure appears before Just on the other side of the elevator wall. //

"Good Luck, Just. I Will Be Watching."

// Just was confused, slightly shaking his head. //

Just

"Y-You're Leaving Me?"

// Without hesitation, the TV-Head figure responded. //

TV-Head

"Idiot... No. I Am Bound To You. Remember? Can't I Watch What's Going On Without Talking? Let's See What You're Made Of-."

// The screen goes black. //

"Wanderer."

// The elevator door opens. Just holding onto his Cross tightly as he walked out of the elevator and into the windy, cold atmosphere; the sky was dark, and the air smelt icy and dangerous. Out of nowhere, Just was struck with pain, holding onto his ears tightly through his mask, wincing in pain as the tape started to become glitchy; unsettling music playing in the background slowed and reverb, hearing the sound of someone harmonizing, the subtle sound of the elevator making a ding sound as D.E.F.E.A.T. appears in the elevator behind Just, only his white smile being shown. //

D.E.F.E.A.T

"Oh, Just, I Can't Wait To Get My Hands On You. Come And Save Your Princess, I'll Be Waiting For You."

// D.E.F.E.A.T. vanishes as the music stops, the screen cutting to black. A pitch ringing sound is heard, Just silently expressing his pain, coughing, and his movement becoming sluggish, looking up with his fists clenched as he silently yells at the dark, empty sky, getting down on his knees as he falls onto the ground off-screen. //
