— Tape #6: The Sewers —

– Tape Begins –

{Music Playing: Witchcraft - Patience & Prudence, Mark McIntyre Orchestra}

// Just slowly wakes up on the cold floor after falling off from however long the height was. His nose noticed the disgusting smell inside the room, so after his vision became clear; It made sense that he was inside a sewer. // 

Just

"Thank God those things didn't follow me down here..."

//  Just only remembers a little of what happened since it all went blank. Whisper appeared with his back against the wall, the sound of his TV-Head making static noises as the screen turned on and spoke to Just. //

Whisper

"The fact that you aren't dead is interesting. Good job. You need to be able to handle yourself under pressure."

Just

"Yeah, thanks for the help. You reminded me how even more lonely I am."

// Whisper lets out a slight chuckle before disappearing. As Just walked deeper into the sewers, it felt like he was walking for about 10 minutes; the smell was unbearable. The sound of water dripping echoed, and then he saw a small dark figure playing with the water, it seemed to be a little girl. Her clothing was dirty and wet, wearing a torn-apart dress skirt that led up to her knees.  //

"What the hell is she doing here?"

// Just didn't want to risk talking to her; he wasn't sure if she was hostile, so he quietly walked past her from behind. She stopped playing with the water as fear developed within his heart. //

"Why did she stop?"

// Just looked at the back of the girl's head, her unnerving voice scratching his soul as she spoke to him. //

Little Girl

"Mr. Ducky, it's not nice to notice someone and not say hi."

// She looked at Just, giggling, her disfigured face made Just feel uncomfortable looking at her; but he didn't want to be disrespectful and look away. So, he tried having a conversation with her. //

Just

"Yeah, you're right. I'm sorry. I need to work on socializing with people."

// The girl nodded but had a questionable look on her face as if she was studying him. //

Little Girl

"Wait, I know who you are... Master told us about you on the news. The ducky goose boy. The Wanderer. Look!~"

// His heart dropped as she said those words. //

Just

"Your Master? Who? DEFEAT?"

// She pointed down at the water she was playing with and Just looked closely, seeing a picture of himself in the murky water which looked like a mugshot. He hears D.E.F.E.A.T.'s voice announcing Just arrival. //

D.E.F.E.A.T

"Attention, City of the Blinded Faith, I have an announcement to make. Just the Duck, Goose, Identity-Crisis boy is in my city. Whether dead or alive, bring him to me. You will receive a fine reward for his death but double the reward for his capture. I will speak to all residents individually. Happy Hunting, and good luck, Just. You'll need it."

// Just was frozen, slowly turning his head to look at the girl, cautiously walking past her while maintaining eye contact. She started to tear up a bit. //

Little Girl

"Where are you going? Master says if we keep you here, he'll get us out of this sewer. Please, Mr. Ducky?"

// She looked at Just, crying. He wasn't letting her guilt trip him, so he shook his head no while backing away. Then, she smiled at him, laughing, and responded to his head movement. //

"Then my Mother is going to come and kill you."

// Just heart felt like it stopped for a second, quietly talking to himself as he stared into the girl's eyes. //

Just

"I've encountered death a few times in my life. If God willed it, I wouldn't be here right now. But hearing that someone wants to kill me... That I've never heard of. Oh God... Please, no."

// While the girl was laughing, Just heard water splashing from his left side and the sound of footsteps heading towards him. He couldn't help but look into the darkness on the other side of the tunnel, hearing the girl continuing to laugh. // 

"Just shut up already, please..."

// At the end of the tunnel, he sees a lady screaming while wielding a knife, her body twitching as she runs towards him with her left arm reaching out. The lady was wearing the same outfit as her, but her dress was covered in dried-up blood; her mouth opened and wide vertically exposing her disgusting teeth. Just immediately looked the opposite way and began running down the sewer. //

// He breathed heavily, his thighs starting to burn, forcing his body to keep running. The peals of laughter grew louder and louder while running Just ended up finding a ladder, and he quickly started to climb his way up, the girl climbing up as well as she clung tightly to his left leg. //

Little Girl

"Please stay, Ducky! Don't go! It'll be quick; just give up! Mommy! Help me!"

// The once innocent voice became distorted, piercing his heart as she laughed maniacally, her head shaking vigorously as he tried kicking her off him. //

Just

"Get the hell off of me!!"

// Just kicked her on her face as he watched her fall on the ground, hearing her cry as her mother came to her aid. //

Little Girl Mother

"Sweetie, are you okay?! WHAT THE FUCK DID YOU DO?!!! AAAAAAHHHHH!!"

// The mother screamed as she went on a frenzy, climbing up the ladder as her long tongue was revealed, flailing around as she swung her knife. Just struggled to open the sewage cover, punching it out of desperation as it finally opened. He climbed out from the sewer and turned around to see that she reached out to grab my leg with one hand, getting ready to swipe her knife with the other hand. //

"I'LL FUCKING KILL YOU!!"

// I slam the side of the cover on her head, watching her fall as the girl calls out to her mommy. I quickly covered the sewage hole as I tried to catch my breath; I could've died. I needed to calm myself down, so I looked at the cross, holding it tightly. I looked around my surroundings to see I'd reached the city. It was cold and dark, the streets were empty, and a few dark figures walked by, surprisingly not paying attention to me. I then looked up to see the large Entity looking down at me from above. //
