Chapter 5 Mary:

Livie and I get out from my bedroom.

I hold her hand to lead her to the dinning room.

“Um Livie I need to tell you something” I say.

“There’s going to be a meeting with a whole other kingdom, and a women that works for my father.” I say

“I guess that’s fine.” Livie says, smiling.

“This is it.” I say turning to face Livie.

I open the door and I see my father talking to mother and everyone looks.

Father looks at me with a disgusted look on his face.

I sit down and father says “who is this other girl” he says.

“She’s my friend” I say, while livie sits next to me.

“I told her it was fine to bring her friend.” Mother says.

I turn to face Livie but she has a horrified look.

“What’s wrong?” I whispered.

“I-it’s my step-mother” Livie says with a shaky voice. 

Then I realized that, that was the woman who pulled Livie out of the room.

The women that made livie had a scared look on her face.

The women who DRAGGED Livie out of the palace.

“That’s the women who made me cut myself.” Livie whispered.

I’ve never been this angry before in my life.

The trumpets sounded that the king and queen of the other kingdom were coming.

I holded my breath because I don’t want to meet them.

The doors opened and the king and queen came.

They both sat down, and started to talk to my father.

“What a beautiful home you have” the king said.

“Oh yes, thank you” father said.

I just rolled my eyes.

“We can plan the wedding after dinner perhaps” the king said, I made a mean face.

“Yes we can” father said.

“May I be excused father?” I said, standing up.

“No, after dinner” father said, glaring at me.

I sat down and Livie tapped my shoulder.

She whispered “I need to leave” livie said standing up.

Livie walked out the door, and I stood up and said “father,I’ll be just a moment.”

Father glared at me, but before he could say anything I was out the door.

I ran to were livie was walking, I grabbed her arm and faced her to my face.

She was in tears.
