(spoiler: this intro is the same for all my stories, so you can skip to the -- if you've read it already lol)

Hey all! This inksgiving I've decided to go through all the comments on my stories and pick out my very favorites. I'm not the best at responding to comments, and partially that's because I feel the comments are YOUR space, not mine. It's a place where you are all absolutely invited to go buckwild, and I don't want to take away from your enjoyment of it by being too present, if that makes sense. Like, I dont want anyone to rethink posting a comment because they're worried I'll judge them for it. Unless your comment is outright offensive/hostile to myself or others, I'm not judging. Give your opinions freely, good or bad. Give me all your predictions, even if they might be wrong. I want to know what you're thinking.

And while I'm not very present in the comments themselves, I do read everything you're saying. You're not shouting into the void, I promise. It may take me a minute to get to them, but I do always read them and sometimes go back to reread them because they assure me that there's real people out there reading what I write (and that realization blows my mind every single time).

So! Here are my favorite comments from Sweet Silence, which I assure you guys, is going to get much... weirder? I guess is the word for it. More intense, definitely. I know it starts off very fluffy and comedic, but it won't stay that way. I have quite a few plans for SS *rubs hands together evilly* so just hold on for the ride.

  1. Ch. 2

Lich is a very interesting character, as you guys are soon going to discover. He has many sides. 'Unhinged' and 'good boy' are just the two main ones lol. But hopefully by the end, you'll all love his many, many sides...even the ones that aren't so heroic.

2. Ch. 5

For the sake of mystery, I won't disclose too much information about this, but I can confirm that Sage's power extends to silencing ghosts. Whether or not Lich is after him solely for that is up for interpretation.

3. Ch. 9

I hope that's a good thing lol. The story's just going to get stranger from here on out, so this will probably keep happening xD.

4. Ch. 10

Ash is definitely a great example of a gothic romantic male lead. He's incredibly charming, but also incredibly strange, mysterious, and a little bit insane. He's a bit more of a silly type than a brooding type like Angel, though, but the general vibe is the same, I agree.

Sage is a villain. Not by choice. It just sort of turned out that way, but hey, he's not complaining. Being bad is pretty cool, actually. And while by most people's standards his superpower is pretty lame - muting sound, of all things - he's found it pretty useful when robbing the rich.

Most heroes ignore him. Except one. Lich, the necromancer. Sage didn't know how talking to the dead was considered heroic, but whatever. That's not the problem. The problem is that Lich apparently has a homing beacon locked on Sage specifically, and he keeps getting in Sage's way, despite most heroes not bothering to deal with the small-time villain committing petty theft.

It was annoying, but fine. Sage wasn't all that active in the villainy community anymore anyway. He had just turned thirty, and quite frankly, he was done with this shit. But still, he wanted to go out with a bang, so he planned his final heist: robbing the most powerful man in the city, the governor.

Except, when Sage broke into the governor's house all he found was the governor - dead as a doornail. What's worse is that for the first time in Sage's life, he was no longer invisible. He was found standing over the body, murder weapon in hand.

Now, the entire city of Fairview wants Sage dead, and the only person on earth who can clear his name is his very own necromancer nemesis. For how much they fight, Lich is surprisingly on board with helping Sage...

And so, the two embark on a quest to discover the real killer and clear Sage's name, but the trail leads them to discover some of Fairview's most well-kept and dangerous secrets...
