"Why are you ashamed of admiring me?" I ask him jokingly. He looks at me, and laughs gently. Why do I find that awfully hot? I start blushing, and daydream about us together, waking up to see him looking at me.
I try shake off these thoughts, and Nathaniel is looking at me in curiosity. "Why are you blushing, Bella?" He asks playfully. I look at him, and my eyes go to his lips for a split second. Nathaniel must pick up on this, because I see him shake his head in amusement.
"Tempted?" He asks, sliding closer to me on the chair. My heart is pounding in my chest. "Joseph is on a date with his wife." I say, as if it is an indication.
