On that note... Hi. How have all of you been?
I want to thank everyone who gave me ink even though I set up no reward goals this year. I'm incredibly grateful that you came to support me and tipped me ink when I couldn't be as active in the festivities this year.
Except for Beau. He knows what he did.
To give a brief rundown of all the events that happened this month, I'll give some highlights.
WritersConnX was pretty fun. I ended up visiting Wattpad HQ, talking to people that I knew for a while, and of course, got a special edition copy of the anthology I was a part of. Anybody who was there and contributed to the anthology signed my copy and some of my work friends even showed up. I was part of a brief five-minute interview during that whole thing too which was so interesting to be a part of behind the scenes. There was a lot of anxiety in the lead-up to the interview but once it was over I felt better.
Now if they manage to recover the files of the interview I will make sure to share it with you all but in all honesty, I may as well forget if time passes by far too long.
Anyway, this has been a lot. The whole year in general has been a lot. I feel like I did more this year than I have in the past 10 years and that honestly sort of terrifies me. I'm gonna hibernate until the new Percy Jackson show comes out and I will figure out the next steps after that.
I hope all of your holidays go well or all of you at least get a moment of rest. I'll see you all next time.
Congratulations on getting the book published! I hope you manage to get some amazing rest now 😴 I'm going to see if my librarian friend wants to use the book for book club next semester! They were asking for suggestions and maybe it will be up their alley!
