Okay, the light is done, he said. "And the snow is falling. Let's see what the

kids are doing."

Then he went downstairs.

Meanwhile in the bedroom, Martin the rabbit gave Wally the wolf pup and

his little sister Alice some hot chocolate.

Wally, Alice, I made you hot chocolate, he said.

The two wolf pups grabbed the hot chocolate on the mug handles, and they

took sips.

Ready to sing Christmas songs, Martin asked,

I guess, said Wally.

Okay now, said Martin.

As he grabbed the notes, he and the wolf sibblings sang Deck The Halls.

Calvin heard them practicing in his bedroom. The sound was so beautiful,

so he gently opened the door.

Oh, hey Calvin, said Martin. "I was just practicing Christmas caroling."

Yes I know Martin, said Calvin, closing the door. "But we got 5 days til

Christmas."

We know dad, said Wally.

And we'll have Christmas dinner on the 24th, said Calvin.

Alice bounced on his bed.

Yes, she said. "I can't wait."
