She said " what are you doing? Get ready you have school today".

I forgot that today was Monday. I rechecked at the time and saw it was 7:30 a.m.

I ran towards my room and got my clothes. I changed and did my hair got my backpack and putted all my stuff inside. Running back to the kitchen my mom prepared some pancakes with syrup on top with a side of chocolate milk. I was savoring the food while trying to hurry up. I finished and went running to my mom's car. Sat down and got buckled, while waiting for my mom to get in the car too.

She walked out of the car and locked the door, started to head towards the car.

Out of nowhere I had a feeling someone was watching me I looked and no one was there. I looked up towards my window and saw a shadow looking down at me. My mom opened the door and sat down.

She said " Hey, are you ok you look pale"

I responded, " Yes, I'm ok I just thought I saw something weird but it was just a squirrel".

I didn't know what to say to my mother at that time but, to make up a lie I know she knew I was  lying when she gave me a weird face.
