Kuro and Crystal's gems activated, but it was lowkey. "Hi..." Kuro started out nervously.

"Me too. Various Trainers will be here. There's supposed to be more people coming. What brings you to Crown City?" 

"I was given a paper by Mr. Ketchum. He wants me to..." Crystal showed him the paper with the address on it. He wants to make a team of Aura Guardians!" 

"Same here," Kuro interrupted. "S...Sorry for interrupting you. I had an Oran Refresher, and the coffee extract in it's got me hyped!" 

"Ah. I just had omurice and a soda," she replied, trying to make small talk.

"I just had omurice as well, Crystal. My mom made fried rice with Clauncher meat. It's very good, actually." Kuro saw a slew of Trainers come through the gate, clamoring about. 

They went to go sit down at the bleachers, waiting to be called. 

Kuro looked at his 6 Poké Balls, which are Ultra Balls. 'Crystal and I are gonna battle...' he thought.
