Kuro was ready to face off Olaaf. Olaaf came out on the field. He's a big, bulking man with Nordic body features, Viking attire, and blonde hair. Kuro looked up at the huge opponent.

"What's wrong, little man?" he taunted. "Never seen a big man before?" He burst out laughing. 

Kuro thought, 'I'm gonna take your bulking ass apart and send you home to your mom. Whatever Pokémon you send out is going in a stretcher.'

Olaaf sent out a Perrserker by throwing an Ultra Ball! "Perr-Serr!" Perrserker called out. 

Kuro looked at his Ultra Ball. "Ready, Umbreon? Go!" 

"Umm-bre!" Umbreon let out a battle cry itself. 

The ref ordered, "Battle begin!" 

"Umbreon! Use Work Up!" Kuro commanded. The Moomlight Pokémon was bathed in a red-and-black, firelike aura. The aura burst off of it, raising its Attack and Special Attack! 

"Get ready for a melee, Olaaf! I'm smacking Perrserker the fuck up today!" Kuro was a little eager in beating the Nordic man's Pokémon into a pulp." 

"Okay...? Perrserker, use Metal Claw!" he laughed, brimming with confidence. 

Perrserker's claws turned to shining steel. It then charged at Umbreon and slashed at it twice, leaving trails of Steel energy with every swipe! 

"Okay, this guy's good. But I'm better. Umbreon, use Work Up again!" 

Umbreon used the same method for Work Up, raising its offensive stats once more and letting out a piercing cry. "Ummm-breee-on!" 

Olaaf sighed. "Not gonna strike back, brother? Perrserker, use Close Combat!" 

The Viking Pokémon's claws glowed white with a red outline. It then rushed towards its jet-black foe and started slashing at it repeatedly. In the process, it lowered its own Defence and Special Defence. 

Kuro's eye glinted. "I was hoping you'd do that to yourself. Umbreon! Use Throat Chop!" 

Umbreon did a sommersault as its tail glowed black with a silver core. Then... WHAM! Perrserker fell to the blow to the throat, wincing till it gave out. 

Olaaf pinched the bridge of his nose. "Why did I do that? I knew I shoulda gone with Brick Break!" He got on his knees and started bawling like a baby. 

Moesha sighed. "Embarrassing. This is really embarrassing. Just take the L and move on. My little brother knows that, and he's 5!" 

"Perrserker is unable to battle!" The ref called out. "Umbreon is the winner!" 

Kuro sprayed his black Eeveelution with a Full Restore. He gave it some kibble. "Here you go, Umbreon. You did great. All we had to do was wait for Olaaf to dig his own grave." 

The ref announced, "these are the matchups for the third round, which will still be a 1-on-1." The board showed Alania vs. Crystal; and Kuro vs. Andreas. 

"We'll have a 20-minute intermission. We have snack trucks at the ready, so come get you some food!" the ref continued but with glee.
