He stayed with his grandparents as he was not willing to leave his adorable grandma and the town where he was born and brought up and his parents were away only for a while. So he didn't mind because Mr. and Mrs. Carter visited him very frequently and will be returning in a few more weeks.

Teach me today, come let us go inside. Did you bring the key ". Smiling Noah replied "Not today Eva, I don't have the keys with me and I have promised our grandma that I won't enter into the workshop on my day off. So I don't want to upset her, so let's do it on another day" ending with a wink.
