Chapter 2

                 Part 6: To Recover Trust?

    Grace, Still quietly working on organizing the study that is still quite messy she has still not said a word to Douglas, Why? She is still trying to figure it out herself…., She is unsure why he would say [After all you are a Lady] What did he mean by it, Just by thinking about it would make her head spin!! Not think about her surroundings she started mumbling what she was thinking,

 Grace : Why did he say that……,

     Douglas noticed her mumbling, Quietly listening to what she had to say wondering to himself as well, Why did he say that?! Did he just breaking what trust he was just starting to make with her? Will she even what to trust him after what he said, What will she think of him? Whit a bunch of worrying thought’s going though Douglas’s head, He tried to bring himself back to reality upon doing so he hear’s something interesting,

 Grace : After all you are a Lady…, Is it not obvious that I’m a girl?

     She mumbles under her breath, After hearing that Douglas brake’s out laughing upon realizing she had no idea what he meant!

 Grace : Hmm? Is there something funny about me having to clean up this big mess!!

     Grace turn to Douglas with a frustrated look,

 Douglas : No, It’s not that it’s just..,

 Grace : It’s what!?

 Douglas : Well I did not think that you were that naive!

     Grace walk’s up to him poking him on his arm,

 Grace : Naive how! You know I have it on good authority that I am very smart!

 Douglas : No I did not mean it that way,

     He sigh’s before looking at her again with a gentle expression,

 Douglas : It is refreshing to talk with someone who is not considered with matter’s of, Never mind, Do you want me to help you with organizing the Mater’s study?

 Grace : Hmm? Oh, Yes that would be nice!

      Douglas quickly started helping Grace pick up all the paper’s and organize them, Meanwhile Grace was more focused on trying to figure out what he was going to say to her, She still was unsure what the whole thing meat, After all she was interested in matter’s that concerned a physical relationship, All she wanted was someone who she could talk to and share her dream’s and inner most thought’s with, So in that sense Grace was very naive but that did not mean that she was oblivious to what could happen, To Grace Love was what her mother and father had a relationship built on trust and respect, Though there where time’s they did not agree with each other they still respected the other’s opinion on whatever the matter was, They would set aside time each month to spend time with each other and Grace and her brother, They would give gift’s to each other not because of a specific occasion but because they wanted to, This is what Grace would alway’s fantasize about that when she would marry her Prince Charming they would be just like her parent’s no matter what would happened to them she would just be happy to have some to hold and love, But to “Douglas” he has never really understood love but he does know what if feel’s like, It was the feeling he use to have when his parent’s where alive, The feeling he would have when he would see his little sister smile, But when he lost those thing’s he felt nothing but emptiness a life deprived of happiness furthering him in to the darkness he when on for 15 year’s searching for his sister but when he finally found her, Her smile was not the same, It did not bring him the happiness he so longed for…., instead of finding is kind and loving little sister he found a girl who lost the shine in her eye’s with no happiness of her own to even want to share, Seeing his sister this way hurt him even more promise to give her whatever she wished for he did not care what he had to do to get it for her even if it meat hurting someone else, But there was alway’s a part of him that still wanted to be loved no matter how much he fell into the darkness, Hoping that one day someone would love him for him, Not for who he was or who he would become but just for him, But on one special day he saw a girl who was sneaking around, Who ended up hurting herself he couldn’t help but wanting to help her, Thinking he would never see her again he though nothing of it until he saw her again sneaking in to his study.
