A knock on the door woke me up. I stretch out like a cat and peeled myself off the sheets. I got out the bed and went to unlock the door. Emily was standing there with a smile. I'm thankful that her usual calm and peaceful demeanor is back. I grin at her albeit sheepishly.

" wake up princess. It's five in the evening." I open my mouth and close it unable to form any words like a fish. Emily laughed at my reaction.

" That's okay dear. I know how exhausting it could have been. Now, come on, freshen up and come down! snacks are waiting for you" with that Emily left me and went towards the stairs.

I clearly remember talking to my wolf. Was I dreaming being a werewolf? 

' And you were very exhausted processing everything Lily' giggled my wolf. Ya! There is the soul, in all her glory, speaking back to me! Now I know, there is no turning back from this. I went to the bathroom, brushed my teeth, took a shower, and went downstairs.

Every one was seated at the dinning along with a new figure. He looks like elder version of Ivan, and as I approach the table, he turns in my direction and gives me a smile, a fatherly one to be more precise. I smile back to him and mumble a hello.

"Nice meeting you young lady. I am Kia's father. you can call me Asher, by the way" My smile grew wider when he got up his place and slid an unoccupied chair at the table for me. I thanked him and took my seat. He went back to his place.

" How are you doing, young lady?" He asked me, His tone soft and rather friendly to approach.

"I'm fine Asher. Thanks to Kia and family, of course" I replied politely with a smile. Emily came out of kitchen holding trays of food.

"Oh my! Babe, that's a lot of food!" exclaimed Asher. Emily smiled to him and pecked his lips, earning chuckles from the siblings.

" Oh dear, I was barely holding up your absence for the last week" Emily replied and made herself comfortable on the unoccupied seat beside Asher. 

" My parents are nothing short of lovebirds. You need to get used to those eye-soring moments" Whispered Kia, who is now seated beside me.

" My dad is the Head warrior of the royal pack, by the way." stated Kia, and my eyes stretched themselves out a little.

That sounds super responsible position! I thought and every one started to digging into the food. By the time we are done with eating, cleaning and organizing, Asher stood at the threshold of the kitchen.

"Kia! You are coming to the ball, right?" He stated. His voice firm. Kia, who was standing beside me let out a heavy breath and nodded.

"Princess! show that damn looser what he lost!" Asher's voice was filled with concern. Kia turned around to face Asher this time and eyes filled with tears threatening to escape. I watched her throat bobbing up and down.

" Do you not want to reveal his identity even to me?" Asher asked a little loud this time, his nostrils seem a little flared.

Kia's gaze was set on the floor and she only shook her head. Asher let out a heavy sigh and gave Kia a fatherly hug.

"You are the strongest female I've ever known, darling! You know that right?" Asher said rubbing her back.

"Aye Aye Captain!" Kia saluted in mockery and we all started laughing. With that Asher and Emily left to their room and I dragged Kia to her room.

" I will be back soon to do your make up." I stated and left for mine. I started rummaging through my dresses which we bought on the day of our outing and pulled out the crimson evening gown. I put it on and stood before mirror to stare back at my reflection.

The dress is completely laced with beautiful patterns of crimson. It starts from my neck with a shawl style neck and runs to my waist fitting me perfectly. The silver belt on my waist hugs me perfectly. The notched cap sleeves leave my hands bare. Not to forget the little window opening up above my breasts which doesn't hide my feminine features and a wide and long back window starting just beneath my neck and running entire way down to my waist, leaving my entire back bare.

I matched my dress with a pair of red stoned silver hangings. I put on the silver stiletto heels which are loaded with dazzling crystals that run across the slender straps which sit on my ankle with an adjustable buckle. Once satisfied, I run towards Kia's room to gasp at the sight before me.

Kia! In all her glory, looks stunning in a tight fitted black bodycon maxi dress with strips over the shoulders, hanging off shoulder sleeves that rested few inches above the elbow and deep v neck design, leaving half of her back bare and a slit that runs up to her upper thigh. She matched them with a pair of gold cone heels. I choose a pair of black and gold studded earrings and a black lacy chockers to get along. I made her sit before the mirror and confidently put on dramatic cat eyes, popping them along with lashes. no blush and bold red lip stick.

Satisfied by her makeup, I started styling her chocolate brown locks to waterfall style. All in all Kia looks deadly gorgeous today. I earned a huge grin from her and she proceeded to do mine now.

She now, made me sit down and started with my base and then my eyes. She made cute pin-up eyes with a little matching eye shadow, paired with victory red lipstick and matching little blush. All in all giving me a cute look. She next proceeded with my blond hair and gave it a textured hot cross bun, leaving bangs along, giving a super cute look.

Satisfied with the looks of each other, we went down the flight of stairs to meet Ivan and Drake waiting for us along with Emily.

" Whoa baby!" cried Emily. 

"Now! that's it!" "Bravo!" cheered Ivan and Drake. Kia smiled at them shook her head.

The ride to the venue was calm and sweet with us complimenting each other, singing along the way and full of fun.

Our car took a turn and we entered a dirt road. A little way further we were greeted by two hefty looking guys who recognized Ivan instantly and let our vehicle in. Once, past the security, its a different world altogether. I was in awe with the scenery ahead. The ball is at the sea. 

The place is very crowded, like at least ten thousand people should have been a part of this venue. we soon took our places with Ivan leading our way to a table placed just a few feet from a beautifully decorated huge alter, reserved under the name Asher and family.

No wonder! Benefits of high position in the royal pack! I thought to myself.

Huge white circular tables were placed in front of the Alter which can accommodate 12 chairs in a go. Paired with white and silver chairs, cute white table covers, mounted by a bunch of white flowers, roses, hydrangea and heliotropes beautifully clasped into one another. The hanging crystal chandeliers shinning above along side flower bunches made of white tulips, calla lily's and alluring hanging wisteria.

The Alter in front is holding a huge silver double ring in the middle, and flowers hanging down along the way, two wings of flowers boldly stood on either side all in white. This place is nothing short of Heaven.

I wasn't even done taking in my surroundings, when my eyes noticed a enigmatic figure walking around and greeting others. A delicious scent of earth after rain and sandal engulfed me as soon as my eyes were on him. The scent was growing stronger and stronger and I found myself closing my eyes and inhaling deeply. Emma stirred at the back of my mind.
