"Do you think Xenon will be okay?" asked Cosmos.
"I'm not sure about that. But just to stop him, I don't dare," replied Tiga.
"Why are you being so scared?" said Gaia.
"Hey, didn't you guys see how angry Xenon looked when Cosmos told him all about it? I've never seen an Ultra get that angry," replied Tiga.
Meanwhile inside, Max was still crying. The words "I'm dirty" kept replaying in his head. Being beaten up by his superior had become a common occurrence for Max, but being raped by his superior? It was now Max's most traumatic experience. Max was now completely broken. He was already physically and mentally scarred. He knew that his friends were willing to wait in front of his house so that he could talk about his problems, but was his dirty self worth showing up in front of Ultra? Max even thought that maybe Xenon wouldn't want to talk to him anymore if he knew what happened.
Outside Max's house,
"How are we going to deal with this? Max is already hurt like this, if anything happens to Xenon...," Gaia stopped his words while bowing his head.
"Never mind, Gaia. I'm sure nothing will happen to Xenon. Besides, there's no way Xenon would leave Max, even if Max was dirtied by that insolent Ultra named Frost," Cosmos said as he patted Gaia's shoulder.
Suddenly, Xenon appeared, but he came in injured. Before he could say anything, Xenon had already fallen unconscious. Tiga, Gaia and Cosmos, who noticed that, immediately went over to Xenon.
"XENON!"
"That's bad! He needs to be taken to Silver Cross!" Tiga exclaimed.
"Does this have anything to do with the sentence he said?" asked Gaia.
"It might. He said he had some sort of business with Frost, but I didn't expect this to be the case," Cosmos replied.
"Xenon shouldn't have gotten into a fight with Frost. If we knew this was going to happen, we should have stopped him," Gaia said.
"That's it, that's it! There's no point in regretting what happened! I'll take Xenon to Silver Cross, you two, wait here!" Tiga ordered.
Gaia and Cosmos nodded their heads. Tiga immediately took Xenon to Silver Cross.
Without realizing it, Max had eavesdropped on their conversation when they shouted Xenon's name.
In front of Max's house,
Gaia and Cosmos fell asleep in front of Max's house because they waited too long. Max, who knew that his two friends were asleep, decided to go out secretly, so he went to Silver Cross.
At Silver Cross, Max tried to find Xenon's room while avoiding contact with the other Ultra. In the middle of his search, he saw one of the room doors open, and Max quickly hid. He saw Tiga coming out of the room. Remembering that it was Tiga who had taken Xenon to Silver Cross, Max guessed that it was Xenon's room.
Max quietly walked up to the door of the room, opened it and then closed the door slowly. After he entered, Max saw Xenon lying unconscious. Max stood beside Xenon's bed, just like Xenon did every time he was brought to Silver Cross in an unconscious state.
"Xenon..." Max spoke in his weakened voice. "Are you like this because you already knew that? Did you become like this after you found out what Frost did to me?" Tears began to wet his cheeks. "This is the reason why I don't want to tell you the truth, Xenon. I didn't want you to get involved in my problems... I didn't want you to get hurt defending me, Xenon. I know that you care about me so much. You were even willing to get hurt to defend me, even though I was already dirty. I'm sorry, Xenon." Max could no longer hold back his tears. He held Xenon's hand while saying one thing.
"You know what, Xenon? I think it's time I did this. Astra told me this once, but I didn't have the courage to do it back then. I'm going to say this to Frost. I'm going to stop being his subordinate. I don't want to be hurt anymore, so this is my decision," Max said amidst his sobs.
After he said that, Max left Xenon's room. Little did he know that Xenon had actually woken up a few hours ago. But he chose to pretend to faint so that he could listen to Max's heart. Xenon immediately got up from his bed.
Dyna and Zero, who had just arrived in front of Max's house, saw Cosmos and Gaia sleeping in front of Max's house.
"Hey, why are you sleeping here? Let's get up!" Zero woke up Gaia and Cosmos.
Gaia opened his eyes slowly. "Zero? Dyna? Are you back?"
"Why are you guys sleeping? What if something happens to Max?" asked Dyna.
Cosmos woke up stretching his arms. "While we were here, Max didn't come out at all."
"Yes. Just take a look. There's no sign of Max going...outside," Gaia lowered his voice when he realized that the door to the house was unlocked.
"You mean..." Cosmos began to break out in a cold sweat. "Don't tell me..."
"Did you let Max leave?!" shouted Zero and Dyna.
Cosmos and Gaia looked down limply.
"Then let's go find Max. Cosmos and Gaia, you search the north. Zero and I go the other way!" ordered Dyna.
Immediately, they began searching for Max.
In the middle of their search, Dyna and Zero met Xenon who wanted to go somewhere.
"Xenon!" exclaimed Dyna and Zero, and they approached Xenon.
"Xenon, what happened to you? Why are you hurt like this?" asked Zero.
"That's not important. Right now, I need to be able to help Max, before the previous incident happens again," Xenon replied.
"The previous incident? So you already knew about it?" said Dyna.
"I know where Max went, but we have to hurry! I'm sure we can still help Max before that horrible incident happens to him again," said Xenon.
Dyna and Zero nodded their heads, then they left together with Xenon.
--------------------
Max had now arrived in front of Frost's office. He went straight inside without knocking on the door first. Frost, who had expected Max to come, was not happy about it.
"Why didn't you knock on the door first? Aren't you my obedient subordinate?" Frost said.
Max took a deep breath and began to gather his courage.
"Frost, there's something I want to say. I don't want to be your subordinate anymore!" Max exclaimed.
Frost, who heard that, was dumbfounded. "What did you say?"
"That's right, Frost. I don't want to be your subordinate anymore. I no longer want to live under pressure from you, Frost. It's true that I've been in a toxic superior and subordinate relationship. Therefore, I want to stop serving you, Frost!" Max said.
Frost was annoyed by Max's words. He couldn't accept that Max had dared to defy him.
"Oh, so you don't want to serve your boss anymore? It's true that you shouldn't hang out with that bunch of lousy Ultras. Well then..."
Frost grabbed Max by both shoulders, then pushed Max until he was pinned to the floor, with Frost holding him down.
"I'll discipline you again, but this time, I'll do it harder than before," Frost said.
Max, who remembered Frost's previous actions, was terrified. He thrashed around and tried to break free so that the incident would not happen again, but his weakened physical condition and Frost's power that was stronger than him, made Max unable to break free.
"Now be quiet. This won't last long," said Frost who touched Max's body again without Max's consent.
