Chapter 4

                    Part 2: A Familiar Face?

     As grace is looking around for something familiar to help her find her way back to her “room” she stumble’s across a gallery will many different panting’s and portrait’s but there was only one that really cought her eye, It is a panting to the royal family of Darkfall, There are four members in total, The previous King Yoru, The Queen Rose, And the current King Ebony, And let’s not for get the woman impersonating Grace Princess Vashti, Though this was a panting of when she was only a little girl Grace take’s her time thoroughly observing the panting of the young girl so if she ever see’s her in person she would know what she looked like, Grace : She has soft black hair like her mother and the dark orange eye’s of her father, Oh, And how unique she has a beauty mark in the shape of a star on her left shoulder! I wonder what she look’s like now with such a beautiful feature’s.., With how she look’s I’m she she could find a husband in no time why did she have to take my man of all men!!!  As Grace continue’s to walk around, She then come's upon a painting of the current King, The Dark King he is the one who is responsible for this whole mess that she is in! But as she peer’s at the panting of him she can’t help but feel as though his face is very familiar…, Though she saw him the night he kidnaped her he was wearing a mask to cover his face, So how could she feel as though she had met him before? 

 Grace : Why is his face so familiar!! It is driving me crazy!!!   

 ??? : Carful now, You would not want to scare the nice people in the painting now would you?

     Grace snap’s as she turn’s around,

 Grace : I swear! You eavesdropping monster!! Why are you here to bother me again!

     The man has a puzzled look on his face,

 ??? : Eavesdropping monster?  

     Grace’s face go’s pale,

 Grace : Oh.., It’s you,

     Grace let’s out a sigh of relief,

 Grace : I’m sorry Douglas, I though you where someone else,

     Douglas walk’s up to Grace putting his hand’s on both her shoulder’s with a worried expression on his face,

 Douglas : Is someone bothering you Grace! Tell me who they are! I will make sure they never bother you again!

     Grace look’s at Douglas with a soft expression,

 Grace : Heh.., Don’t worry about it, I don’t even know there name.., They just heard me talking to myself about a problem I’m having, But they ran off after calling me crazy and I tried to catch them but I was to slow and then I got lost and ended up here,

     As Grace explain’s her situation to Douglas she start’s to tear up as her frustration bubble's over, 

 Douglas : Can you at least tell me what they look like so I can talk some sense into them for you?!

      As Douglas ask this question he take’s out a handkerchief he had in his pocket, He then gently wiped the tear’s from her eye’s

 Grace : Well he had sharp blue eye’s and gray hair and he said he teaches archery, Do you know who he is?

     She sniffle’s as she tell’s Douglas 

 Douglas : Yes, I do know him, Please allow me to teach him a lesson for you,

     As Douglas comfort’s Grace he ask’s her what problem she was having, She hesitate’s for a moment before telling him everything down to the last detail, Grace had never told anyone other than Mindy her closest companion who was sworn to secrecy to tell no one not even her own mother! Grace had alway’s struggle with her own confidence since she was little though she was not sure where this feeling came from she has alway’s been unable to shake off the feeling she would get when she was alone for to long, Mindy would usually help her sneak out of the palace and take her to a lake behind the castle so she could could finally catch her breath.
