If I had to make an estimate on the amount of time that passed, it would be around 3 days, during this time while I never felt hungry I still got tired so I took short naps in between going through all the possible plots.
Of the thousand discarded plots a few stood out as helpful, but my main goal when searching through this file was to find a weapon that I could use that would be extremely versatile.
I wanted to add in a plot point that would add this type of weapon into the world since it would allow me to gain an advantage without having to take something away from one of the main characters.
And finally on what I could only guess is the third day I found the plot point I needed, it was the one of the few plot points that came back to me through my search
"This the discarder plot I want to add back into the world"
As I pointed my figure at the brief description of it on the page the being floated over my shoulder and looked at the page for sometime before looking at me in surprise.
"You know that even if you add something like this back into the world you won't be automatically given the weapon, you will still have to go obtain it yourself."
They looked back down at the description and back at me
"Are you sure with this decision."
"Yes"
This plot option would give me a weapon that would be extremely versatile, and even though I have to obtain it myself since it will be implemented in the way I envisioned for it to be implemented in the past, retrieving the weapon should be plausible.
"Okay, if that's your final decision then we will uphold our end since the region in which the weapon is located was already created we will simply implement the mechanism of retrieval and the weapon itself in the location."
"With that done let's go on to the final thing on the list which is simply an agreement form, which as you can see is the label on the third and final file."
Once again I reached for the file to which it opened up and from it a single half sheet of paper came out, with one sentence on it
——————————————————————————————————————
YOU MUST NOT TELL ANY OF THE RESIDENCE IN THE NEW WORLD WHAT YOU ARE.
Sign________________________
——————————————————————————————————————
After reading the one sentence curiosity struck me
"Is there a reason why I can't?"
"It's simple really; you are going to a world that is currently unstable imagine what would happen if the residence of this unstable world were told that their existence started as something to simple entertain others, that their hardships, trauma, and pain were introduced in their lives to satisfy others. You could see the negative effect that could have right."
When you put it like that it makes perfect sense, even if most wouldn't believe you the few that did could cause everything to unravel.
Once I came to terms with this I nodded at the higher entity after which they motion with their hand for me to pick up the form.
As I picked up the form a pen materialized out of thin air, after singing the form it vanished along with the pen, table, chair, and cabinet, what followed was the formation of a what I could only assume was a 10 meter in both length and width large arched door, with metallic engravings.
The door seemed to emit a strange glow similar to the glow surrounding the floating being, what I found most strange wasn't the sudden appearance of the door, it's size, or glow but instead the fact that I no longer was confused by the suddenness of these situations: I guess it goes to show that humans truly are great at adapting.
It was then that the being floated towards the door before Turing around and staring at me.
"We have finished the process, once you step through this door your soul will be placed into a fetus while your current body will remain in your apartment on your Earth.
During your stay in the other world we higher entity will take care of your body and if absolute necessary impersonate yeah when the need arrives, otherwise we will simply places your body in a homeostasis state so that when you return no issues will arise."
After saying this they enlarged their body once again but this time the faint glow they possessed increased in intensity and along with it the door's glow.
Once the glow's of both the door and the being matched, they pulled the handle of the door, behind this enormous door was a bright white light that moved around as if it was a living creature.
The lights as they came together looked as if a galaxy was being formed right before my very eyes.
As if drawing me in like a moth to a flame my body unconsciously moved towards the light until one leg was in.
Right before my whole body was through the light I heard the entity mumble one last thing in an almost regretful voice.
"We truly are sorry, but we still hope for a magnificent end."
Once I heard my thoughts went back to when they told me about their dilemma.
'since you weren't placed in the world immediately after it's creation it was unstable and drastic changes happened.'
What where those drastic changes, it then felt as a fog was lifted from my mind and with it what was once blocking me from questioning 'How they made a mistake' with my mind cleared the biggest concern of the million that were flooding my thoughts was that the story I once wrote may be completely different than what I know.
With all the question racing through my head the next thing I remember is opening my eyes to a slightly tan women with light brown hair sitting in what I could only guess was a hospital due to the gown she was wearing.
In a soft, and quiet voice that had a hint of worry the woman looked up with her deep violet eyes towards a man by the bedside that from the looks of it was a doctor
"Is their something wrong, he isn't crying at all"
As soon as I heard this as if it was a natural phenomenon I begin to cry loudly, It wasn't something I purposely tried to do but instead maybe a natural instinct that my newfound body could not fight off.
And with this my first sound in the new world was that of me a once 28 year old man crying in the arms of my new mother.
