Despite everything that had happened, the townsfolk had found hope again. They didn't know why, but they had mixed feelings of being in danger and safe. They kept their distance from Asukem but felt he was why they felt safe. As they continued rebuilding Kimbra, Asukem went to calm his nerves by meditating. he sat down with his legs crossed and his hands on his knees as he tried to take deep breaths and fixate his anger calmly.

As he meditated, he met with an Anubis in his mind. This Anubis appeared to be a giant with the head of a jackal, and its body was humanoid, but its skin was as black as the void. On its chest, it wears a chest plate of gold and jewels that also cover its shoulders but look worn out and dented from battle. It wore a crown with a gem glowing a sinister color around its head. Its bracers were dinted and worn with a tinted color of gold. He wore a loincloth of chains that covered his front and back end. Around his ankles, he wore cuffs tinted in gold but worn and dinted. The Anubis was barefooted to complete his image. The Anubis carried a Scythe on its back, giving him a sinister presence.

The Anubis spoke to Asukem, his voice booming in his mind as he said, "Asukem."

Asukem opened his eyes wide as he heard the overpowering voice. Trembling in fear, he noticed he was no longer in his town but in a different realm that was pitch black with darkness. He answers, gulping his fear down, "Who's there!"

The Anubis hovers above and behind Asukem, resembling how giant he was, but also leering at him with a sinister glare and him snarling, but making it sound like heavy breathing as he says, catching Asukem's attention even more, "Do not fear me Asukem, I am here to help."

Asukem slowly turns around, showing how terrified he is, his face already showing waves of fear, just to turn into trembling and heavy breathing as he sees who exactly was talking to him. His first instinct was to protect himself. Getting into an attack pose, he turned around, readying himself for a fight for his life.

The Anubis laughed with barking as he shrunk into his average size, still towering over Asukem, but not as much. He was taller than Asukem by a couple of feet. He said, impressed with Asukem, "It's good to see that you still have your wits about you."

Asukem, still showing signs, is trembling in fear, stepping back a few steps as he prepares to fight or escape as he asks, "Who or what are you?"

The Anubis disappears as black, smoky mist falls from the ground and spreads across the ground. He appears beside Asukem with his arm over him. he answers Asukem with his own question, putting his hand on his chest as he asks, "Who me?"

Asukem removes himself from the Anubis's hold upon him. He turns around, still in his defensive pose. The Anubis continues his answer, surrounding Asukem as shadows engulf his legs, making them invisible to the eye and as if he was sizing Asukem's physical being. "I am Ah'keim, the entity of guidance." His answer played a bit of trickery and lies, but Asukem didn't catch on to it, which Ah'keim wanted.

Asukem, still in a defensive stance, digging his feet in the dirt, ready for anything, and his heart pounding in fear, asks in a concerned voice, "What in the great horrors do you want from me?"

Ah'keim halts in his tracks and disappears to only appear behind Asukem, leaning to his ear and replying, "Like I said, boy, I am here to help."

Asukem shakes his head, denying it as he turns to look at Ah'keim. As he asks, "But why?"

Once again, Ah'keim disappears and appears by Asukem, putting his arm over Asukem as he says as if he was a victim, but playing at his words as if he was lying once again, "Well, I am tired of being a pawn in a war I want nothing to do with."

While huddling with Ah'keim, Asukem asks with quiet confusion, "Why do you need me?"

Ah'keim disappears, only to appear in front of Asukem with his arms out in front of him towards Asukem. Spotting the obvious, he says, "You're the one!" He charges through the shadows up to Asukem's ear with a sinister look in his eye as he continues in a whisper, "The one that she was watching all this time."

Asukem's face filled with concern and confusion as he asked, "Who?"

Ah'keim disappears and reappears in front of Asukem, but facing away from him, he places his face in his palm as he states, "Boy, you slow." A turn of events happened, and Ah'keim suddenly traveled in the shadows, rushing into Asukem's face with a snarling, angry look on his face, causing him to look sinister and menacing as he growled, "The noble girl, Evealeana!"

Asukem steps back, his face turning with attitude as he asks, "Okay, what about her?"

Ah'keim throws up his hands and shakes his head in disappointment. As he walks away, his footprints on the ground steam in a shadowy mist.

Asukem watches with worry and concern at Ah'keim's frustration as he asks, "Is she like a great horror of something?"

Ah'keim's ears twitch at what Asukem said. He looks slightly towards Asukem, and he snaps as he is impressed with Asukem, "Exactly! She is the great horror of lust and torture!"

Asukem looks wrinkled up as he gets upset and mad at himself, as he says, "Damn it, I fell for her when I first saw her!"

Ah'keim travels to Asukem's side in the shadows, leaning over him with his arm and laughing with bark as he says, explaining, "That is not surprising since that is her specialty." Ah'keim waves his hand in front of him as a shadowy figure appears in front of them. The image of the guard that Asukem fought Ah'keim pointed at the image and added, "Anyway, we will come back to her, but you know he will be back, right?"

Asukem flexes his corrupted arm, clinching his demonic claw as he glares at it with rage, "Of course!"

Ah'keim smirks in cockiness as he pushes onto Asukem's cheek as he explains, "Then be ready for him. He will grow stronger when he comes back." Ah'keim waves his arm towards the shadowy image once again. The image changes, showing them a different version of the guard.

Asukem glares at Ah'keim once he is pushing on his cheek but notices the new image of the guard as he asks with concern, "Okay, and how do I deal with that?"

Ah'keim puts his hand on his chest while straightening his back and acting confident as he proudly says, "By letting me teach you, of course."

Asukem looks at Ah'keim, confused. "Teach me? There is nothing wrong with my swordsmanship."

Ah'keim closes his eyes and nods, agreeing with Asukem, "Yes, I know, your swordsmanship is pretty decent. Franklin did a good job teaching you." Ah'keim disappears and appears in front of Asukem, poking Asukem's chest hard as he says a little hostile, "But you need more than that when the guard turns into Sin Kin!"

Asukem rubs his chest in pain, but with an annoyed look forming on his face as he questions Ah'keim, "A what?"

Ah'keim, beside Asukem, answers him, "A Sin Kin is a person who is cursed by a Great horror, but they are fighting against corruption."

Asukem glares at his demonic claw and clinches it. His eyes widened in fear as the question slipped out of his mouth, "So, this means I am a Sin kin?"

In a way, it's good that Ah'keim is here to offer guidance and explanation to the horrifying changes to Asukem.
