Ch. 2 

It’s been a few days since we settled in. Everyone has had some push back from their parents demanding answers which meant more lies. Then again who would believe the truth we would’ve told. I’ve managed to keep my powers a secret still, though it was hard as hell. Besides that I have no idea where to start from now! What and who do we investigate? Where do we get research!? How would we go about any of this?!! I spent a while mulling it over until a light bulb went on in my brain. 

I asked everyone to meet up in a building I created for us to live. I call it the newest house based on my fav game called control. Everyone met up in the living room, I brought drinks, snacks, and Chinese food. I had papers, books, and ideas that I couldn’t wait to share! It felt so…nostalgic. As soon as everyone settled in I began to explain my plans on how we’ll save this world. 

Amarion: 

We’ll be an investigation team. We’re gonna investigate everything that is paranormal and find the various connections between religions and the divine. To put it in plain terms we must avoid an all out war. 

I don’t think humans currently can handle such truths… if anyone disagrees pls tell me. 

Will: 

I don’t think anyone here disagrees with that actually sounds better than nothing. 

Keyshawn: 

Yeah to be honest it’s not like we have any other ideas. 

Everyone agreed with my plan. Now it’s time to dive deeper.

Amarion: 

We’ll first need to spend at least a few weeks of training first before we can be sent out and investigate and do research. Which means daily hand to hand combat and demonstrations of our abilities to one another. There will also be sparing partners. We’ll start tmrw. Any questions? 

Collin: 

When you say investigate what do you mean? 

Amarion: 

I mean we’ll look into various religions and occult related things. For instance strange murders, areas that have legends and shit attached to them. Basically if it doesn’t appear normal we check it out and see if it can help us with what’s coming in six months. 

Collin: 

Alright I get it now. 

Amarion: 

Any more questions? 

Everyone: 

Nope. 

Amarion:

Alr then, Jaiden I need a favor for tmrw. Can we speak in private?

Jaiden: 

Yeah sure, depends on what it is. 

We discussed some more things that night before heading to bed.  

It was the following morning which meant it was the day for everyone to display their powers. 

Amarion: 

Ok first fighters will be Collin and Kamya! These fights will only be a demonstration of strength, agility, stamina, and abilities. No horse play. Any questions? 

Grant: yeah I have one- 

Collin: ok moving on!!! 

Collin and Kamya moved to the back of the Newest House and proceeded to enter a fight stance. They stared at each other before clashing. Collin baited Kamya into throwing the first punch and she took it. His plan to trick her would’ve worked if it were a normal fight. She leaped forward and threw a right hook at him. He tried to block but the moment he did, her fist caught on fire. Surprised by it he immediately stepped back. 

Collin: “ you could’ve burned me nigga!! “ 

He said sweating and startled-

Kamya: “oh fawkin well, go all out or go home. Shiiii” 

She said in an annoyed tone- 

Collin calmed down and took a better look at the situation. He knew he needed to be wary of her fire and anything else that could happen, seeing as how this is their first ever altercation. He proceeded to attack first, he ran head first at her. Throwing a left hook, right hook, followed by an uppercut. Kamya blocked the first 2 attacks with her arms but it was useless against the uppercut. She was launched into the air, that was a grave for Collin. As she began to levitate, she was using the air to keep her suspended in the sky. Collin was surprised but wore a huge grin on his face as he looked up at her.  He said: 

Collin: Wow that looks amazing!!! I think it's my turn to show what I can do huh?! 

Collin began to levitate like Kamya was in the sky. Then commenced a battle in the sky. 

Amarion: 

Just to remind ya, you do know this is just a spar right!? 

I yelled into the air. 

This needs to hurry up and end before my guest star appears!! 

Everyone questioned who it would be, only me and Jaiden knew. 

Collin wanted to test out his new abilities so bad. I could see the excitement written all over him. He flew toward kamya in a rush, kamya anticipated this, she summoned a huge rock pillar in between them to protect herself. Collin saw the huge wall in front of him and thought of something devious. While in the air he absorbed and condensed it all into his hand. He raised his arm into the air and swung down as fast and hard as he could!! He.. COMPLETELY SLICED THE WALL IN HALF. Smoke covered the area. Everyone was astounded and surprised but Kamya had a feeling this would happen. She waited in the smoke and launched holders from the front, Collin tried to knock them out of the way with wind and fire and he succeeded. But from the smoke Collin felt something wet and cold grasping his leg, it was a chain made of WATER! Collin wasn't all too fazed but he was about to be. 

Kamya: I don't like using this one cause it hurts me to but fuck it!! 

She said with an angry expression and a smile. 

She electrocuted him. Yelled out in pain and fell from the sky. Kamya overjoyed, said “I've won BITCHES!!!" 

Collin stood up from behind her and said “oh really?" Kamya immediately turned around!! Collin lunged at her, grabbed her and put her in a choke hold. He said “tap out and I'll let ya go." with a smile on his face. She asked “how the hell are you even ok?!” he responded “NIGGA I have a high pain tolerance, I've been electrocuted!" he laughed out loud. Kamya ended up tapping out. 

Kamya was amazing at the level of control of her power, but she was distracted by the win even though it wasn't a match but a spar GODDAMN it. Anyways Collin has years of fighting experience so she was a little outmatched.  

Amarion: 

Our special guest is running late so we’ll have to move on. Keyshawn and Will, your next. Demonstrate what you can do. 

Both head to where the last match was and prepared to fight.
