"Mommy? Mom?" Eliza groaned and turned to her side, waking up from a deep sleep. "Milo? What's wrong, little breeze?" Eliza had started calling him that when he was barely born - when he would cry, the wind picked up quickly, blowing around the room. "I was sleeping and suddenly I was stuck in the water and couldn't breathe, and then a shark tried to catch me and I couldn't swim, and, and-" "Oh, oh it's okay, darling, it's just a bad dream. Do you want to sleep here tonight?" Milo rubbed his eyes and nodded, crawling into bed with Eliza. He paused and looked to her other side, squinting. "Norah?" "My tummy was achy..." his sister muttered. "Again?" "Yeah... It's stupid." "Language, Norah" Eliza reminded her softly."Well it is" her daughter grumbled. Eliza exhaled and kissed both of her children's cheek. "The stars are still out, loves, you know what that means." "Sleep time." Milo nodded. "That's right." "Will I go back to the bad dream?" Eliza smiled at her son. "If you do, I'll protect you from it." Milo nodded snuggled into the bed next to her. "Sleep well, my loves."
