Moments of truth, the police steps in the premises. They shake the hands of the manager. However, all the authorities bow their heads when they notice Arthur. The old fella didn't utter a word.
“What are you waiting for? You should arrest them. They are scamming the establishment. These thugs harm me as well. He’s the juvenile that beats me up in the restroom.”
Manager Lee, points his fingers to Franzlie yet, the girl looks at the officer beside her that shivers to approach her.
"Go ahead and arrest me, officer." I will not resist, but you are accountable for your own arrest of an innocent lady. And have you ever conducted an investigation into this incident before arresting me? If you have evidence that I was bullying that inept boss, please bring it up with me. "I will willingly surrender myself to arrest and face charges."
The old manager smacks her face in front of the police officers, who are stunned by what he has done to her for the second time. The officer quickly placed handcuffs on the old manager, which surprised him.
"How come you are going to arrest me?" I am not at fault here; that delinquent, not me, should be prosecuted for fraud. Untie my hands right now!!!! ”
Manager Lee's fury has wilted since he was arrested. "You can not do this to me, officer. "I am the one who has been harassed and beaten up here by that delinquent."
"Calm down, Mr Lee; I want you to tell me who you are accusing of being a phony and a piece of garbage. Are you aware of the punishment that would be imposed if you were proved guilty of your claim against them? Lastly, are you so deluded by your rage that you want Ms Franzlie Mc Greggor jailed because of your own false accusation? ”
The former manager was questioned by the arresting team's head operation. Then, to his amazement, he finds himself kneeling in front of Franzlie and her father. The lady looks at him blankly, despite his pleadings for forgiveness, but Franzlie is oblivious to his cries.
"Drystan here attempts to convince you not to cross the line. Yet, you push it to the limit. You do not even pay attention to all of our warnings. In addition, you smacked me and slandered me in front of the audience. I am not going to fight you. I let you do whatever you wanted, but all of your acts have repercussions for which you must pay.”
A cold statement of Franzlie towards the former manager. Mr.Lee cries a river to beg for mercy on her. She doesn't even look at him while he’s down on her knees pleading for his own safety.
“I’m not a saint nor a devil. I can give you a pardon, however, this will cost you so much. Perhaps a second chance would do but I’m not the one to decide what will be your fate since you cross your line as a person. You are the one that needs an etiquette tutorial, and not me.”
Franzlie turns around and attempts to keep her fury in check. Drystan admires how she maintains her composure in the middle of mayhem. The man quickly offers her a glass of water. Even Arthur is upset since he observed her only daughter being assaulted twice. He can not let this stuff slip by him..
“Can we proceed to the station and will detain this person for now. Sir Mc Greggor you are welcome anytime to come to the station to face charges against this rude fellow. And on behalf of my team, we apologize that this matter disturbed both of you, Sir Mc Greggor.”
The cops lower their heads in apologies to both the father and the daughter. Arthur motions with his hand, and all of the officers in the vicinity pull out all of their policemen. One of their subordinates, however, goes with the cops who left the diner.
“Sir Arthur, I would like to apologize.” Drystan kneels down to Arthur yet, the old man shakes his head and mutters.
“This silly fella, it's not your fault that there's rotten fruit in your basket. That’s normal if you know what I mean. There are subordinates that try to impersonate us especially if we trust them. Just learned that lesson and I guess you have seen a lot about what kind of daughter Franzlie is.”
The old lord chuckles and he lets Drystan join them to their table. Drystan on the other hand asked his servers to replace their food since it’s gone cold. Two servers walk in and bush out all the plates on their table. Franzlie notices the girl that was bullied by the former manager.
The Mc Greggor lady smiles at the server and signals a hand gesture that everything is alright and we'll be taken care off. There’s no need to fear the abusive manager. With her teary eyes she expresses a gratitude of thanks to her.
“WOW!!! I don’t know how will I express my admiration to you. That character of yours is majestic and divine. I am literally speechless that a lady like you exists in this world.”
Drystan is owed to her while his father rendezvouses on his behalf that at long last, it looks like there’s a man equal to his daughter and he knows the background as well.
"Stop fangirling, Papa and Sir Drystan. That does not work for you both, which is a little embarrassing.”
Both gentlemen chuckle, even at the other diners in the room. Franzlie flushes like a cherry. The audience teases her, but they appreciate her guts and poise when she confronts the individual who slanders and bullies her.
"Papa, I believe it is time to eat. We came here to enjoy each other's company," she said, embracing her father and leading him back to their table.
"You really know how to get your way," her father said with a smile, tousling her hair like a little girl.
"Papa!" she protested, but she couldn't help but smile back.
