After wrapping up our deal me and Amy started to make our way back to our families.

Our story was simple while playing Hide and seek we got lost in the small forest the park had, and while we were lost my core had awakened early leading me to pass out.

After Amy saw this she decided to wait for me to wake up before we started searching for a way out.

"Umm..I thought you didn't want your parents to know in order to avoid worrying them."

"I don't want them to know about my two cores, plus it would be almost impossible to hide the fact that my core awakened from them, so I believe that it would be best to just come clean."

She nodded a few times, and went back to the reserve and silent girl she was.

We continued to make our way back in silence and to my surprise we arrived in a little less than twenty minutes, this was about half the amount of time it took me to get to the area.

The only difference between the two journeys was my blessed core.

'Vee wasn't it a forty minute walking distance from the picnic spot to were my core awakened?'

'[Yes it was it seems your body and mind have both been matured after awakening your core.]'

'Hmm, there's much more to blessed cores than I initial thought.'

'[Indeed there is, it seems most blessed core user go through some type of course once their ability awaken based on Amy explanation.]'

'The Holy capital right, once we get home I'll do some research on the place just so I'm not going in blind.'

'[I would advise you do that as well.]'

When we arrived at the picnic area, I noticed our parents had moved from their initial spot, at least that's what I thought before hearing quickening footsteps approaching me from behind.

"LUE!"

It was after hearing my mother yelling my name that I became certain about who was running up on me from behind, and before I could turn around she scooped me up a drew me close to her in a big hug.

While my initial reaction was to try to push off her to get free, I stoped resisting after noticing that her eyes were swollen and red.

In the few hours that I was missing she was extremely worried and it made me realize just how important I was to her and the rest of my family.

"Mom, I'm fine it's getting hard to breathe."

That was a lie due to my awakened core my body was a lot stronger so this hug really had no effect on me but I wanted her to calm down so that we could have a conversation, and my little white lie worked.

"I'm sorry, here let me put you down."

"Thank you."

Not even a second after she put me down she squatted down to be at eye level with me and had a serious look in her eyes.

"Where were you two this whole time?"

I gave a quick glance to Amy before looking back at my mom and dialed my acting perimeters to the max.

"As you probably know we were playing hide and seek, and while Bridgett was counting since she was the seeker me and Amy decided to hide near each other, so that if one of us was about to get caught we could distract Bridgett while the other one ran."

My mother was nodding to whole time and during my explanation Angela, Amy's mom had joined us and was currently standing next to Amy.

"Well we were running of this we ended up getting lost in the little forest at the back of the park, while we were trying to find a way...."

I paused for a little bit to show hesitation, as well as to add a little suspense to my story telling.

"My blessed core activated, and due to that I passed out and was unconscious up until a few minutes ago."

I looked at Amy to signal to her to confirm my explanation which she seemed to pick up on.

"Umm...We are sorry that we were gone for so long but when I saw him passed out I didn't think it was a good idea to leave him on his own so I stayed with him."

My mother who was listening quietly and staring at me looked me up and down, and then looked at Amy before returning her gaze to me.

"How did you know that you passed out due to your blessed core being activated and not something else."

"At first I assumed that was the case since the right side of my chest started hurting , and I had an orange glow around me before I passed out. Amy confirmed my assumption after I woke up."

She looked at Amy to which Amy nodded to agree with my explanation on what happened.

While she was till concerned about what happened the explanation got rid of her major worries.

"Well Lue while I am still worried let's head to your father we need to discuss what comes next. Angela I hope you don't mind me going ahead of you."

"Of course, I'm just happy that nothing too bad happened, Lue congratulations on your safe awakening."

While my mother was holding my hand tightly and pulling me towards where I can only guess my father and sister were waiting, I glanced back and gave a slight nod to Angela.

But right before I fully turned around I caught a glimpse of a slight curve in her lips along with a yellow shine in her otherwise dark eye that seemed to expose everything about me.

Ring,Ring,Ring

"Jared... yes they showed up, there doesn't seem to be anything wrong with him but let's just take him to the hospital incase."

My mother looked at me before continuing to talk to my father on the phone.

"It seems that Lue's blessed core activated so we need to prepare to take him to the Holy Capital....I just wanted to let you know we can talk about it more after we get home."

She hung up the phone and looked back at me.

"Lue I know you may think you're fine but just to make me feel better I want to get you checked up can we?"

I smiled at my mother and gave a slight nod to which she smiled back and began wiping her eyes and mumbling words's I most likely wouldn't hear if not for my newly activated core

"I'm really glad your okay."
