Oh My Gangster
Part Two
Luca
The kid was good. No doubt about it. Without anything resembling a real underworld connection, he had made a name for himself. But he was basically just a baby to me being ten years older, yet he had some of the bigger players running forcover. I didn't run and I wasn't afraid of a twenty two year old boy either, though I could recognize talent when I saw it. He could be useful, but he was going to have to learn some manners first. Before having him brought to my place, I had learned as much about him as possible. Seeing him in front of me changed my opinion a little. In the pictures, he looked as hard as nails. A real cool character. In person he wasn't such a two dimensional poster of a man. Whatever had first earned him his street cred, it wasn't his size. He was about five nine. Not too short, but not a behemoth either. He had bright blue eyes and dark hair which had fooled enough people into believing he was something, but the rest of his structure didn't back that up at all. He had a sharp but square chin, an intelligent forehead, the sort of low rounded cheekbones that would usually be associated with a trustworthy face, but there was nothing trustworthy about this little shit. He was handsome though. Not a scar on that pretty face. Flawless actually.
"Shall we let the fun begin?" I asked. I wanted to see that blush again. He knew I caught it in the dimly lit room.
"I don't play," He really is a little shit. A cute stubborn little shit. "I don't like games."
"Really?" I asked leaning down so we were at eye level. He didn't flinch, not at all. "You're quite brave, I'll give you that."
"I have no reason to be afraid. If you were gonna hurt me, you would have by now."
"Smart. But it's just not smart enough. I brought you here because I'm making you mine. Do you understand?"
"I won't belong to anyone."
"Funny," I said, standing up and moving towards the window that overlooked the city. "You belong to me now and you will do well if you do as you're told."
"Don't fuck with me!" I chuckled. "What's so funny?" I turn to face him. He had terror in his eyes. Did I feel invincible at this moment in time? My answer would be yes.
"Miles," I moved back towards him and held out my hand. "Get up." He looked at it as if it was a foreign object not meant for this world. "I don't bite." He frowns and huffs. "Take it, come on."
"If I do, then I know I will be stuck with you."
"You will be stuck with me either way." I wasn't letting him go, not a chance in hell.
"I don't get it, why would you be interested in me?"
"Just something, like a gut feeling and that's something my mother had always drummed into me, was to follow that gut feeling."
"Well your mother is stupid…." I grabbed his wrist and squeezed it a little, he grimaced and closed his eyes.
"My mother is dead." He gasped and held his breath for a moment, then grabbed my wrist in return.
"I'm...sorry, I didn't mean it…" I pulled his face closer to mine. I could smell his sweet musty scent.
"The thing is, you did. But there's nothing we can do about that now. What's said was said."
"I'm...not good enough for you."
"Let me be the judge of that," His eyes took stock of my whole face. His lips pursed just enough to grab more of my attention. Pink, soft. "I'm not all that bad, Miles."
"You're not all that good either." His voice is more gentle now.
"I'll be good, to you."
"Why?" It's an easy question, yet has no easy answer. I guess over time I've become rather obsessed with the kid. He's beautiful, yet behind his beauty was a guy wanting what he could never seem to grasp. Power. I stood between him and the life he's craved for a while now.
"Not only will I treat your body with care, I will give you power. You do want that, right?"
"Power?" He whispers. "If I give you my body, you'll give me power?"
"Yes."
"No, I won't climb to the top like that." Very stubborn. Honestly though, I want him, all of him. I'm not giving up.
"Hmmmm."
"Why are you humming?"
"You just don't get it." I said, moving away.
"Don't get it?" He grabbed my shirt, not too hard, but just enough I stopped. "Tell me why Luca."
"Fine." I turned around, we were but inches apart. The flush in his cheeks was all too apparent. His smell tingled all my senses. "Like this." And I grabbed the back of his head and brought our lips together. His lips are really soft and reluctantly I pulled away. He had that shocked but not all too surprising look on his face. A look I've seen many times on others and those times I didn't give a shit. Yet when it came to Miles I was hoping he would melt into my arms and just say yes.
"Stupid." He whispered and blushed again. There it is, my sign that all hope wasn't lost.
"Go." I mumbled.
"What?"
"You want to stay?" I watched him kick his heel a little and move back a few feet. "Just go." I knew that in that moment when our lips connected that he would mull on it and I would definitely see him again. There's no lie in that sweet blush, he wanted me too. So letting him go would be a sure way of getting him.
"Fine...I...I'm going then." And just like that I let him leave knowing tonight wouldn't be our only night. That kid will be mine.
