Casper 

 This situation is pretty funny, thought Casper has he was heading towards the front row of benches to say one last goodbye to the girl everyone wanted to be.

 People would describe her as lovely, the only thing he could record was that she was a huge bitch. Of course nobody cares about that,

 she does look nice in a coffin though. 

For some reason, he felt like he should give that pretentious gal one last look,

 he did. 

The one and only Ophelia looking like a ghost, her face and that thought made him crack a smile, followed by a small low cackle. 

He continued moving, trotting all the way t’ill he was finally outside, getting a few disturbed looks caused by the previous laughter he wasn’t able to prevent. 

Once out, he burst out laughing, the young boy couldn’t care less about what his camerades would think of him, he only had himself anyways.

-What a joke! Spat Casper between a breath. 

-You find that funny? Weird humor. Echoed a voice behind him.

 -Who asked for your opinion? Who does that nerdy prick think he is.

Casper knew that voice, though he would’ve never thought that geek would dare speak to him like this, speaking of which where was he-. 

Then he suddenly felt a slight pressure on his back, he turned to face that anonymous person.

 Round glasses, a pair of big round emerald eyes, curly chestnut hair, he knew that face and despised it. 

-Never thought i’d see you here. Said the curly head.

 -Why wouldn’t i come, i always love a good comedy show.

Despite hating him, that nerd was his one and only friend, if you can call it that. 

They knew close to nothing about each other’s personal lives but the green eyed loser would always come up to him with that stupid looking camera of his, how old was that thing anyway.

 -What about you? What are you doing here, looking for something dark to capture with your old gadget? 

-I actually didn’t bring it today , the weather’s not nice enough. Why? Wanted me to make you my beautiful muse? Sang out the four eyed boy while giving Casper a couple of imaginary kisses.

-Ew stop, i don’t wanna catch your fleas! Replied Casp while pushing away his compagnion. 

 -Oh c’mon! You know you like it. Cried out Neven. 

-Anyways, it’s freezing out here, how about we go somewhere else? 

It was freezing out, Casper was basically on the verge of hypothermia, the wind and the rain was too much.

 -You’re cold? Want my jumper? I have like three other sweaters underneat this. 

That was unnecessary information but he didn’t dare to mention it, Nev was nice enough to let him borrow his stuff.

-That would be nice. Added the delinquent.

 He observed as Neven took off his green colored jumper and handed it over to him. 

 -Thanks, smiled Casper while taking it and putting it on, with no warning, he felt something in his right pocket.  Startled,the boy backed away in a quick manner and yelled out, he could hear someone bursting out laughing. 

-You should’ve seen your face! Careful though don’t hurt Missy!

-Missy? What the fuck is- . 

Yep that nerd is more of an idiot than casp thought at first, Missy was the stupid little rodent Nev always carried around, not with him, ON HIM.

 So Casper placed his hand on the little bulge and in a rapid motion, took out of the pocket a grey little rat.

 -That thing is disgusting. Grimmaced Casper has he handed out the little beast to Neven.

 -You gotta admit he’s cute! Argued curly while taking his energetic fluff away from Casp. 

 -Yea, yea whatever, hilarious! Now can we go? I’m still only wearing that ugly shirt of yours, and if i don’t die because i caught a monstrous cold, then i’ll definitly pass away from mal nutrition.

-Wow! Love the enthousiastic tone in your manly voice, very sensual! Joked the boy with slovenly hair. 

But yeah, i could absolutely use a delectable meal. Wanna grab a snack on the way home? 

How could i ever say no to an adorable guy like Nev. 

 -Why not? That seems like a reasonable manner to ask. 

As a result of that answer Neven couldn’t help but to grin. 

They were both extremely peculiar, but that’s what brought them together, now on their way to the cafe down the street near the small lake.

Why did Casp even come here? Wondered the tan skinned boy as he was watching the weirdo he came along with trying to chug his matcha tea while the drink was still hot. 

That, of course, was a failure. Neven ended up spilling the whole thing on himself and his light blue sweater was a now a darker shade.

 -Yep, exactly like i thought, you're stupid. Mocked Casper, that visibly provoked the small guy, who was about to comment, however his friend got the first word. 

 -Anyways, have you heard of what caused the death of our fashionable Ophelia? Questionned the hazel eyed boy to his classmate. 

 -Nope! Should i be intrigued? Asked Neven who was now leaning forward on his elbows and calmed down from the previous attack Casper did. 

With full attention, -Okay, so according to people, she was stabbed in the stomach 10 times, the weapon the murderer used to kill her was apparently a normal kitchen knife, from her house of course, wouldn’t want to leave traces of who they are.

-At least they seem pretty smart, i like that kind of murderer. 

OH MY GOD! The boy gasped. Which made Casper snort, Neven was so weird sometimes.

 -Maybe it was a torpe, continued the nerdy guy. 

 -Normal language please, i don’t speak your bizarre vocabulary, sighed Casp with squinty eyes. 

 -Says the guy who uses “puerile” to describe me, who are you to speak and plus, your way too vulgar, i should have known you wouldn’t understand my gorgeous knowledge. Added Nev with an aggressive tone. 

 -I may be “vulgar”, but i don’t give a fuck, now tell me what torpe means you geek! 

He trully didn’t care what Neven thought of him…or maybe he did, however right now the only thing he wanted to know was what a “torpe” was. 

 -Okay, okay, no need to get so defensive! A torpe is a guy who loves a girl, but can’t admit his feelings, romantic ain’t it? 

-In the context of our conversation, nope, but maybe in another one, also thanks for the lesson, thought you were gonna give up on me. 

 -I would never! Casper knew somehow in his guts, that it wasn’t a guy who did the killing. 

 -That’s more like it, though about your theory, i doubt it’s a guy. 

 -Why wouldn’t the killer be a man? Questionned the nerd with blank stare. God he looks so dumb. Simply because my dear, the killer took something with them on the way out, clothes, and now i know you’re thinking “yea, but maybe the guy is just a creepy pervert”, but why take a dress and makeup, If you could just take her underwears? 

-I- stuttered Nev. Are you serious? Did they take anything more interesting? 

-Actually yea, photos and her dairy, apparently.

 -Jealous girl? 

-Who knows. Replied the hazle eyed boy while making gestures with his shoulders. 

Actually maybe the nerd is right, it could be a jealous mate, who was obsessed with Ophelia. T

hat’s quite a good theory, maybe even better than mine, thought Casper. 

 -Anyways, i really enjoyed this wonderful diner with you, but my mom is gonna kill me if i don’t go right now, moaned the curly head. 

Casper didn’t want to be alone again, he liked having Neven in his company.

 -Okay, then you better be on your way stupid. Wouldn’t want to have another murder case on my mind. 

“Don’t go please” were the words he really wanted to say, but his mouth wouldn’t seem to cooperate. 

 -Fair enough, bye bye sucker! Squeeled Neven while running away in the least manly way possible.

 Just when Casper thought he was lonely again he heard someone scream his name. 

Startled the boy turned around.

 -Casper! It was the nerd, see you at school tomorrow! Love you! Screamed excitedly Neven while sending kisses towards Casper. 

God that geek is weird.
