The forest was silent as Eliana walked through the moonlit ruins. Three seasons had passed since she first found refuge within its overgrown walls, and much had changed. 

What was once a scrawny girl on death's doorstep had transformed into a lithe young woman as wild as the wilderness itself. Muscles corded her wiry frame, honed from constant training and survival in the harsh domain she now commanded like a queen. 

Her sack was full from a successful hunt, hatchet and other tools crafted with exquisite skill hanging at her hip. Though only 11 winters old, a newfound power and self-assurance radiated from her bearing. This was no longer a child lost and alone - this was a woman warrior reborn from ash and vengeance. 

Reaching the longhouse, Eliana entered reverently. How her discoveries within these moss-shrouded walls had fueled her transformation and dreams of justice still to come. Lighting a candle, she knelt before items left as offerings to spirits who sheltered her all this time. 

Her fingers traced the smooth rose orb tucked away in a niche, still holding swirling mysteries after seasons under her care. As darkness enclosed her within the ruin, Eliana lost herself gazing into its luminous depths...

And froze, breath catching in her throat. For within the orb's translucent swirls, images now moved - flashes of faces both familiar and foreign, landscapes beyond her forest borders, signs of far spread kingdoms and peoples. 

Had this ancient treasure chosen this night to unveil its purpose? Or was solitude stirring flights of fancy? She knew not. But a flicker of hope bloomed in Eliana's chest, kindled by this glimmering light in the darkness. For its visions hinted there was yet a larger world, and purpose, waiting for her beyond the boundaries of this protecting woodland realm.
