There was blank, unbroken silence upon the castle during the night. Bíbor had no issues getting in and hiding until it was safe to move. But she did not know how to find Hajnal. Without a better idea, she started roaming the castle’s corridors and chambers. During the guard mounting, she managed to get down to the prison and was overjoyed when she saw the fairies.
”Girls! It’s me!"– she said as she took off her hood.
The fairies first thought she was just a mirage, but it was really Bíbor.
”We thought you were dead!"– they cried with joy.
Bíbor had no time for this. She asked about Hajnal.
”She is not here. The prince wants to marry her. We do not know where she is.”
After this, the fairy did not hear a single word of what the others wanted to say about their planned escape. She started running wildly. She wanted to search through the castle; however, she accidentally crashed into someone in a corner, and her cloak fell off her. She froze momentarily, but then she saw the person’s face. It was the same man who stabbed her in the back! That beautiful face hid an absolute monster. Bíbor unleashed her sword and attacked.
But to her surprise, the man managed to block her attack. He was obviously an excellent swordsman. Despite that, he still had no chance against the fairy. He tried to flee, screamed for help, and used all the tricks up his sleeve to save his skin. Just like that, Bíbor could still bring him to a stand, but then she heard a scream.
”My prince!”
A woman stood behind them, and dozens of guards appeared in the corridor next to her. All armed up from top to bottom. Bíbor fought, but with time, she became exhausted and found herself on the ground.
