The gods made their way to the main communication hub that was in the annex building on the top floor. The annex building is relatively moderate in size, but a whole lot smaller compared to the castle. Its structure was simple yet elegant. The annex building was in the back of the castle grounds but still adjacent to it. Inside the communication hub, all the walls were white making it look sterile. All the computers and monitors were turned on, which filled up the space of the room with their low blue glow from the holographic screens and the soft hum of the machinery working. The hub was crowded and stuffy from the gods and all the other various staff members being packed into the small room. There was barely enough room for the workers to fit comfortably at their stations. The gods did their best to give everyone space. Even with them sitting at the small meeting table in the middle of the room, it was hard for all of them to get situated comfortably, no matter where they were inside the small cramped room. It probably wouldn’t have been so bad if the table wasn’t there, but then there wouldn’t be anywhere for them to sit. Except for the stations, all of the stations were currently in use, so they would just have to make the most of an already stressful time.

“Have you debriefed the demigods about the impending threat that is fast approaching?” Claudeleous asked out loud, not directed at anyone in particular, hoping someone would answer.
“Yes, I already spoke with them. They are aware of the situation. The demigods are currently in their respective regions and are ensuring that none of the mortals living within their region becomes aware of what is happening. They said that they would do their best to keep things concealed to avoid widespread panic. The demigods from each region have asked us if we could send warriors in addition to extra supplies for the wartime efforts. The Nameless from each region seems to be holding up well while supplying aid to everyone as needed, but they are still falling short. There are not enough helping hands to go around. I think that we should create Nameless to help bolster their numbers for added support. What do you all think?” Vivianetta asked her brothers and sister.
“Considering how overworked we currently are, I would think making more Nameless would be beneficial in the long run. Hmmm…. Juliabethal, what do you think? Can you take care of this task?” Claudeleous asked his sister.
“Sure. How many units do you think we should make and send for every region?” Juliabethal asked.
“Send down 50,000 units per region. That should be more than enough support to help them finish all their preparations. When you do send the 50,000 Nameless units through the portal, make sure you tell them that they will also need to increase the production of all the essentials so they will have a greater chance of survival. Of course, this is just us merely being cautious. Should this evil entity actually make its way to Centuri and decide to destroy everything, we must do all that we can to preserve their lives. That is our responsibility as their creators. Just remember, about our limiters, we are not allowed to interfere in their lives, we can provide them with aid and support within reason, but cannot step outside of the scope of help,” Luciansys told them.
“Brother I think in addition to making more Nameless, we should look into creating warriors to send to protect the mortals living on Centuri. Since the demigods and we are bound by our limiters, they would be better suited to protect them. I wish that we could do more for them besides sending aid. Honestly, I want us to be the ones to protect them, instead of trusting their fates to other mortals. I hate that we can’t fight. Winning wouldn’t even be an issue if we all came together. Cursed limiters. Such a pain. Regardless of my feelings, what do you all think about us making the warriors go down to Centuri to protect them in our stead?” Claudeleous asked them all.
“That is a brilliant idea you have Claudeleous. In addition to creating these warriors, we will need to establish training centers for them and build manufacturing plants that will be responsible for creating weapons and tools that they might need in battle. Let’s have the scientists and magic users create armor along with other magical apparatuses and potions. In addition, there will need to be trainers who will teach combat skills and strategy to ensure that everyone is in tip-top shape, both physically and mentally. Lastly, leaders will need to be established to oversee the various ranks. I think this should take priority over making more Nameless,” said Luciansys.
Vivianetta retorted, “Well even if I agree that we need to might need warriors, I feel that we need to make the Nameless more. The mortals need more help with their preparations than they do with protection. I think that should take precedence over making the warriors. We cannot just leave the mortals high and dry like that. They are in dire need of more resources. Don’t you agree with me Juliabethal?”
“If you are asking for my opinion, I believe they are both equally important. We should create both. To say that one should take precedence over the other is a tab bit ridiculous. Here’s an idea. Why don’t we split into two teams? One team will work on the warriors while the other team works on making more Nameless. How does that sound?” Juliabethal said.
“Thank you Juliabethal for always being the voice of reason. You always know how to keep a cool head in these high-stress situations. And yes, I agree with you completely. We can make it work if we split into teams and divide the workload. I propose that Juliabethal and myself will work on creating the warriors since they will require more in-depth knowledge of combat, military workings, and battle strategies, while Vivianetta and Luciansys work on creating more Nameless. How does that sound everyone? Are we in agreement?” Claudeleous asked.

Everyone was in agreement about how the workload would be divided up. All four of them got up from their seats and left the communication hub so they could get started on their work. As they were exiting the room, Luciansys told the staff that works in the hub to make sure that the meeting minutes were sent to the demigods and that they were completely updated.

Several years have already passed since the meeting they had in the communication hub. At this time one batch of Nameless along with one batch of warriors were completed and were being sent down to Centuri. From there it would be up to the demigods to delegate. Everyone would be given instructions on how to set up the various posts for their troops, that way they can get started on training and learn battle strategies that will be needed to combat the evil entity they are calling, Darkness, when it arrives.
On Centuri, the land region, which was comprised of about 65% of the surface of Centuri, was busy setting up the barracks and other housing quarters, training facilities, and multiple factories and warehouses meant for the troops. The sky and water regions were also busy doing their variation of setup. In addition to all the military buildings going up, shelters and supply storage were also being constructed. Those structures would hide the important necessities should the enemy destroy everything in the land region.
Preparations for the sky region were slightly different from the other regions. This region was going to be used more for storage of supplies, shelters, and bunkers. The demigods that rule over the sky region were sending summon orders to any aerial citizens that would be good at combat, to go to the training facilities located in the land region to receive supplementary training, in case any enemies can take to the sky and attack from above. Everybody in all the regions had a job to do and tasks were being completed according to the allotted timetable.
With everything being completed and far exceeding expectations, it was time for the gods to come together again to meet and discuss what the next steps will be. They needed to discuss and make sure that nothing had been overlooked and get a status report from the demigods. Plus, there was something that needed to be addressed. There was something that the demigods of the land region had mentioned to Luciansys, they were worried that despite all their best preparations and planning, things could still go horribly wrong, and they would lose their fight against Darkness. Luciansys agreed that he would bring up their concern to his sisters and brother in the next meeting and let them know what the outcome will be regarding this matter
