Wesley sits at a table Lyra took him to, it was a spacious booth and they just stood there awkwardly, “C-Can I have a menu please?” Wesley asked while looking down he was too scared to look her in the eyes, “of course I’m sorry” Lyra said as she ran to the back to get him one. Wesley started talking to himself “you can do this just relax, she’s a person like you”, he continues so intensely and focused on his own mind, he didn’t even realize that Lyra came back with the menus “um are you ok, you looked very focused on the table” Lyra stated “oh no, I’m good just thinking that’s all” Wesley chuckled as he took the menu, “ok good, do you know what you want to drink?” Lyra asked so sweetly Wesley looked up from the menu and stared into her eyes “you” Wesley said without even realizing “Lyra stuttered “uh”, then Wesley shook his head “sorry I meant YES I would like a sprite please” Wesley said blushing like crazy, “coming right up” Lyra said, then disappeared into the kitchen. What exactly is the right person for you, assuming you aren’t dating anyone right now?” she thought about it for a second then continued “no I am not with anyone right now, I think the right person for me is someone I can talk and communicate with well, and someone who is handsome and sweet and kind, or something like that” she said, “ok, great personality traits and I understand its hard to date and try to find the right one, sometimes you might even give up then one day you see someone who just instantly feels right and all logic is thrown out the window, and all you can do is let it play out” Wesley said while staring deeply into Lyra’s eyes, then he heard someone grunt from far away, he looked and noticed it was Noah glaring at him, then Noah told Wesley to come here, “excuse me ill be right back” Wesley said as he walked away from the table, “what do you want?” Wesley said in a annoyed tone, “um I want to know what we are really doing here,” Noah asked, “We….are here for lunch remember”, Wesley nervously said, “oh really, then why have I already finished eating like twenty minutes ago and your over talking and making googly eyes at Ms. Right over there” Noah said, “ok first of all her name is Lyra, and second doesn’t Lucia work today, why aren’t you with her?” Wesley asked, then Noah looked down and got really sad “I can’t be around her right now” “oh no did you guys break up?” Wesley asked hoping it wasn’t true, then Noah shook his head from left to right, “oh” Wesley sighed, “then what is it?” Wesley asked getting frustrated that he had to keeping asking, Noah looked at the ground still “I-I can’t say” Noah stuttered, “Noah, so help me if you don’t spit it out, I promise you I will-,” “ok, ok,” Noah interrupted, “I immediately went to say hi to Lucia, and she was serving a table at the time so I went to eat then she finally finished and we said hi and greeted each other very Nicely “ Noah emphasized, “then as we were greeting each other Ms. Blair came and Lucia pushed me out the way again” Noah sighed “so now I can only look at her from afar” Wesley looked at him in disbelief, “so you mean to tell me that you interrupted me and Lyra’s talk because you can’t be near Lucia?” Noah looked at Wesley and quickly looked away “uh” Noah said, “yes?” Noah stuttered, immediately afterward Wesley walked away and went to the table. “I’m so sorry about that, Noah needed me for absolutely nothing” Wesley said, Lyra laughed “your good, you went even gone very long” she said, “is he your brother?” Lyra asked, “not blood related, but he feels like a brother I’m an only child” Wesley said, “yea me too, I’m an only child” Lyra stated, then Wesley looked down and noticed her shirt was tighter than usual and immediately looked back up doing his best to focus on her and what she was saying, “do you live with your parents or by yourself?” Lyra asked “I live by myself, and my mom lives a little close to me.” Wesley said “oh that must be nice I still live with my mom” Lyra sighed, “oh is your dad not around or….if you don’t mind me asking?” Wesley said, “I don’t mind, he suffers from Alzheimer’s disease and he recently has been hospitalized” Lyra sighed, “I’m so sorry that must be tough to see him like that” Wesley said genuinely, “yea it is, some days are harder than others but you just have to hope for the best” Lyra said, “yea, your really strong to be able to continue on, I’m in awe of you honestly” Wesley said, “w-well thank you” Lyra stuttered, some time passed and they continued to talk, “well I should get back to work it’s been about two hours” Lyra said, “two hours!? I’m did not mean to talk that long” Wesley said while getting ready to leave, “yea me either but I enjoyed talking with you, have a great rest of your day” Lyra said, Wesley couldn’t contain his blush “I-I also enjoyed talking to you, bye” Wesley said as Lyra waved bye and disappeared in the kitchen. For a few moments he was in his own mind “Wes!” Noah yelled, he immediately snapped back “hey wipe the drool off your face we have a meeting in a hour, we have to head back to the office” Noah explained, “damn, how did I forget about that?” Wesley said, “oh I don’t know maybe it has to do with Ms. Right” Noah said sarcastically, “gosh she really does distract me” Wesley smiled as he left Jamaica Be Irie.
