Wesley hadn’t seen Lyra since he took her home and he carried her to her house and met her mom. “I hope she liked me” Wesley thought to himself, he couldn’t get Lyra’s scent out of his head and how soft she was. He kept growing more and more fond of Lyra, he loved their weird exchanges and conversations he couldn’t get enough of her. He started to finally understand the meaning of hopelessly in love, while he was getting ready to go to the gym, Noah came to his house and rang the door bell, “hey Wes you in here!?” Noah shouted from the kitchen as he ransacked the fridge, “yea, I’m getting ready to go workout what’s up? Wesley said while brushing his teeth, “I need your help with something very important” Noah said, finding some bread, meat and cheese to make a sandwich, “ok what is it?” Wesley said walking into the kitchen “why every time you come over here your hungry?” Wesley asked, “I don’t know it’s like before I come in here I’m fine then I walk through the door and I’m starving” Noah said, Wesley just stared at him “what do you want?” Noah stopped making his sandwich and looked at Wesley as serious as Wesley had ever seen him “are you actually ok, your kinda freaking me out bro” Wesley said and Noah continued to stared “I’m going to tell Lucia I love her, but I don’t know how” Noah said  as he continued to make his oven roasted turkey sandwich, “oh man I’m happy for you” Wesley smiled, “thanks bro, but I’m freaking out, like do you think I should tell her over dinner? Or I could take her to a park and set up a picnic or something?” Noah said looking at Wesley and waiting for his input, Wesley could feel Noah’s glare and turned to him “I think whatever you do just make sure she feels special and seen, and like you really love her.” Wesley said, “she’s the most important thing in my life, I love her so much it hurt when I’m not around her” Noah said tirelessly, Wesley started to think about how he felt about Lyra and how it hurt when he wasn’t around her, but there’s no way he’s in love, not yet he thought to himself, “help me” Noah groaned, “I’m not good at this, Lucia is the only person I’ve felt like this with, and I don’t want to screw it up” Noah sighed, then he finished eating his sandwich and got a cup of water, “how’d you meet Lyra?” Wesley asked, “well, I met her at her sister’s wedding I was serving at the time, and she was a bridesmaid and she was the most precious thing I had ever seen, and I tried to talk to her but her sister kept ordering her around every where and wouldn’t give her a chance to leave her side, so at this point I had given up and I was leaving then she ran up to me and asked me for my number because she thought I was hot and sweet for making sure she was drinking water even though she didn’t ask for it, then after that we talked over the phone and we went on our first date at a bowling alley, I sucked but she was on fire and she smiled so brightly that whole night and after that I knew I just wanted to make her happy and the rest is history” Noah stopped and looked at Wesley and he was on the verge of tears “you really love her” “duh dumbass” Noah said, “what should I do?” “Well I think, you meet her at a wedding so why don’t you finish it at one? You get what I’m saying?” Wesley said while raising one eye brow at Noah, then Noah looked confused for a second then gasped “you’re a genius!” Noah said as he hit Wesley, “ow, and I know” Wesley said condescending, Noah rolled his eyes “whatever” “didn’t I just help you?” Wesley said then Noah jumped out his chair and bowed on the ground “I’m sorry your greatness, forgive me” “yes thank you” Wesley said as he patted Noah’s head. “oh I also found out that Lyra’s last name is actually wright” “What!” Noah said, “I was right!? It was just a joke but I guess it really is fate” Noah said, “yea, tell me about it I haven’t been able to get her out of my head since I met her mom and picked her up out of my car” Wesley said “when did this happen?” Noah asked shocked that be knew nothing about it, “ a couple days ago, she smelled so sweet and her skin was so soft” Wesley said, “I really want to go see her again, but I don’t have a excuse technically” Wesley said sadly, “bro you’re the CEO of the company you don’t need a reason plus there numbers haven’t come back up fully yet” Noah said, then Wesley gasped “your right, how did I not think about that?” “I know you really got to get your head out the gutter” Noah said laughing after Wesley pushed him, then they went to the gym and as they were leaving Wesley suggest they go to the restaurant to check up on things, when really he wants to check up on Lyra, then they arrive and he sees a lady mad at Lyra and he notices she picks up her drink and he runs to protect Lyra from getting splashed, then after they go he tries to remain calm as she tries to wipe him then her mom calls “my dad, he got worse I’m sorry I have to go” she says as she runs out the door, Wesley ran after her “wait I’ll take you” he says, “I wouldn’t want to impose” Lyra said, Wesley was in shock at how she was so polite even though her dad was in a bad condition he really was amazed at her strength, “your could never impose on me” Wesley smiled at Lyra and got in the car.
