Wesley goes home after kissing Lyra and he can’t even fathom what just happened. He wanted to keep going had they had not gotten interrupted; he would take her in the house and would’ve kept her up all night. As he drives home his mom calls him “hi sweetie, how’s everything?” Wesley’s mom said, “it’s good, Lyra’s family situation is handled, and I just dropped her home” Wesley said trying to contain his excitement that he kissed her “ok that’s good, are you on your way home sweetie?” his mom asked, “yes I am, why?” Wesley responded, “good, I’m just reminding you don’t forget about tomorrow’s meeting, you’ve been working hard at Jamaica Be Irie and the employees as well, so hopefully the numbers have changed for the better” his mom stated, Then Wesley got quiet and started to remember the first time He met Lyra and how he was amazed at her beauty at first, then how he got to know her, and how strong she is to deal with her dad and rude customers, how smart and funny she is especially when she’s embarrassed. He deeply cared for her and couldn’t believe that he just kissed her and tasted her for the first time in real life “uh hello?” his mom said for the third Time in a row. “Can you hear me?” his mom continued, “yes, I’m sorry I got lost in my head, I couldn’t help it” Wesley said, “alright, well Wes just make sure that you aren’t losing who you are in the process” his mom stated “and we have that meeting tomorrow but don’t think I don’t want details” his mom said as she said bye and hung up. Then Wesley pulled up to his house and noticed Noah’s car in the driveway. So, then he walked and then he went and saw Noah eating food in his house again “are you some kind of human raccoon?” Wesley said, “maybe, How’s Ms. Right?” Noah asked, “she’s good, I just came from dropping her off at her house” “whoa, so you just dropped her off and came back here” Noah said, “yup, but we also kissed finally” Wesley said after putting down the items he brought from the hospital, “what!” Noah stopped and stood up and looked at Wesley “you kissed her?” he asked, “yea, I did” Wesley said while blushing so red he would put a tomato to shame, Noah gasped “oh my gosh, with tongue?” Wesley was flabbergasted and embarrassed “y-yea, but like not a first it was a slow and passionate” Wesley said blissfully, “that’s good, props bro” Noah said while fist bumping Wesley, “yea, but I’m about to sleep so can you go?” Wesley said, “yup I’m leaving now, see you tomorrow Wes” Noah said, then he walked out the house and shut the door. Wesley got up and locked the door, while heading to bed he still couldn’t believe he tasted her and she was sweeter than candy and he wanted more, he wanted to taste her whole body and just go all night getting to know every part and making her moan his name, “ugh” he groaned, he can’t think straight when she’s around and when she’s away, then he fell asleep still thinking of her. The next morning Wesley woke up kissing his pillow thinking it was Lyra, “aww” he said disapprovingly then he turned and started to get ready for work, he began to shower and brush his teeth, and he couldn’t believe that he might not have to go to Jamaica Be Irie as often than not, he started to get sad, “I didn’t even get her number” he said to himself while twisting his locks and braiding them, then he went downstairs to the kitchen and as he was getting his breakfast ready, he noticed something on the couch, so he got a baseball bat and slowly walked up to it and it was Noah sleeping on his couch, Wesley was relieved “Noah, wake up” Wesley said , “mhhmm” Noah groaned “Lucia stop I’m at work” Noah giggled, Wesley was horrified and immediately punched Noah awake “oww” Noah said with his eyes still closed, “I didn’t even hit you that hard” Wesley said “yes you did, my arms swelling up” Noah cried, then Wesley just walked away and kept on making his breakfast “wait, is that food, can I have some please?” Noah said after getting of the couch, “sure” Wesley said while giving Noah some water. Then they ate and left to go to the meeting, while they were driving Noah was on the phone the whole time with Lucia , and Wesley was in the backseat of the car the whole time, he was missing Lyra and daydreaming about what could be, then they arrived at Melo and they greet Wesley’s mom while she’s talking to some employees, then they head up to the meeting room, and they open the door and this time everyone has a bagel and orange juice, “good morning Ella” Wesley and Noah say as they pass her desk “good morning” she said while string at Wesley like she was reading a page out of a book, then Wesley walks into the meeting room, and everyone stops eating and talking, then Wesley walks to his seat, and immediately a department starts to present their progress, but Wesley’s mind is occupied on Lyra her smile that could turn anger away, her cuteness that he just wants to pick her up and hug her, then the reviews team came and started talking about how reviews are going and Wesley tried to focus as much as possible but he couldn’t get her out of his head, it was almost impossible, “Mr. CEO sir” Zach said who was head of the advertising team, “yes, continue” Wesley said as if he was paying attention, “Jamaica Be Irie reviews are through the roof they doubled than what they were before” Zach stated, the whole room applauded, then Wesley and Noah looked at each other knowing that they didn’t do much except fan boy about Lyra and Lucia. The meeting ended after an hour or so later and Wesley was at home, glad to get a break from work for the next couple of days, but he was sad that he didn’t need to go to Jamaica Be Irie, then as he was trying to figure out ways to see her, so he could get her number or something Noah calls him and invites him on a cabin trip.
