The following day, after completing the majority of her duties, Juliabethal went looking for Vivianetta so that they could both find their brothers and have a talk with them like she had promised last night. She looked for her in all the places where she knew Vivianetta usually would be working but was unable to locate her. Feeling worried, Juliabethal stood in the middle of the corridor thinking where she could have gone off to, and like a bolt of lightning striking her mind, she knew where Vivianetta was. Juliabethal let out a sigh, knowing that no good was going to come of Vivianetta hanging around the portal, watching Persephane all day.
Juliabethal made it to the portal, and sure enough, there was Vivianetta. Judging by the expression on her face, Juliabethal could tell that something was up. So walked right up to her and tapped her on the shoulder to get her attention.

“Hi. What are you doing back here at the portal? Did you already complete all of your duties?” Juliabethal asked.
“You know the entire time I have been here looking through the portal, there are some things that I have made note of.”
“What would that be?” asked Juliabethal while watching her sister for indicators of her mood.
“I have taken notice that Persephane and that Commander has been spending way too much time together. They are with each other all day and all night. The only time I have seen them not together is when they go to work, use the bathroom, and go home to sleep. Aside from that, they are inseparable. I’m going to say it again, I think Persephane might be in love with that man,” Vivianetta said not hiding how annoyed she was.
Juliabethal turned to look down at Centuri and see what was currently happening with Persephane. Then she looked back up at her sister and said, “Well, if you remember, Persephane was sent to Centuri to learn about all aspects of mortal life. That also includes learning about love. Her getting close to this warrior would be no exception. I will agree with you that she does spend a good deal of her time with him, but I fail to see how that is any different from when she is spending time with other mortals. Part of her training while living on Centuri is to learn how they live, work, and form relationships. And a crucial part of forming most relationships is having some form of love. So, her getting close to this warrior would be no exception. It does look like there is a difference in how she treats others compared to how she treats that man. But I don’t think that is a cause for concern. Not sure why you are making such a big deal out of this.”
“What do you mean it’s not a big deal!? It is a big deal! What if this develops into something more serious and it prevents her from being able to complete her objective? You know the one she was born for!? We don’t know what this warrior might be thinking or what his intentions toward her are. For all we know he might just want her to fulfill his nefarious fantasies. Or to kill her. Or corrupt her and weaponize her to use against us?!” Vivianetta shouted.

Luciansys and Claudeleous could hear Vivianetta yelling all the way down the corridor, which prompted them to come to investigate and see what all the commotion was about. Once the brothers entered the room where they heard Vivianetta shouting, they saw Juliabethal with her mouth agape and eyes wide with shock. They looked at Juliabethal, asking her with their eyes what this was all about, and she shrugged her shoulders letting them know that she was just as confused as they were by her sudden outburst.

“What’s going on over here? Why is Vivianetta yelling?” Claudelous asked.
“Ah, there you both are. We were just about to go find you. I had promised Vivianetta last night that we would meet with the two of you regarding a matter of concern of her,” Juliabethal told them.
“I see. So then does all of her shouting have to do with what you two were wanting to meet with us about?” Luciansys asked.
“Yes, as a matter of fact, it does," said Juliabethal.
“Ok, so then mind telling us what all the commotion is all about Vivianetta?” Claudeleous asked his sister.
“What has me so upset is how our precious daughter is getting way too close to that mortal right there. Look at that! See he’s standing way too close to her. What’s his deal?! Doesn’t he know who she is? I will not allow him to jeopardize her mission or steal her away from us. Have any of you given any thought to the possibility that his intentions are impure?! We don’t know what this mortal is like or what he wants with Persephane. I think it would be best if we separated them immediately. Better yet, how about we send him to a different region on Centuri?!” Vivianetta exclaimed while still seething with anger.
“Hey Vivianetta, don’t you think you’re going a bit overboard concocting all these fake and wild scenarios in your head? I mean even if she does happen to fall in love with that warrior, there is always the possibility that it could benefit her. I think this is a golden opportunity to test this theory out and see what kind of effects it will have on her completing her mission. Who knows? It might give her an exponential amount of strength, the likes of which we can’t fathom. I do understand your concern for our daughter, and no matter how much any of us would like to try and stop her from doing something foolish, we cannot interfere with her destiny. Us gods are not fully omniscient. We cannot clearly see what destiny has in store for her. All we can do as her parents is give her guidance based on the little fragments of the future we can see. Even if she ends up falling in love with that mortal, there really is nothing we can do about it,” Luciansys said.

Even knowing that Luciansys was right, it didn’t make it any easier for her to accept, which left her feeling defeated. Regardless of how right her brother was, it did not ease the worry that she felt deep inside.
After seeing the pained look on her face, they offered up a compromise. Luciansys told Vivianetta that they tell the demigods to help them keep a closer watch on them both, and if necessary, send out spies as backup. He also told her that should they see anything amiss, they will order the demigods to find nonlethal ways of keeping them separated. Vivianetta agreed to this compromise which helped to ease most of her worries. The gods all went to the communication hub together so they could inform the demigods of what they would ask of them to do for them. They would ask the demigods to keep an eye on the two of them and report back their findings from watching them.
