Asta's P.O.V
Don't worry, my little Lyra, you look beautiful. If anyone says anything, I'll defend you~. She nods and smiles softly at my words of affirmation, filling her stomach with butterflies. As we enter the bustling dining room, human employees and vampires walk around, placing plates on the extended family table.
She gasps and speaks to me through her mind. You didn't tell me you have a twin sister?!
I respond softly Yes, I do. Her name is Athena Psyren! I will introduce you to her at the family meeting.
I sit next to my brother Vesper as he stands, enraged. "Excuse me! Mother?! Father?!" He gestures to Lyra, the lack of subtlety or shame in his actions disgusting me. "What is the meaning of this?! How will a female consort for Asta help this family?!"
My mother sighs as she shushes him. "Silence, Vesper; her decisions are none of your concern. Your sister has earned the right to have whatever consort she wants."
I sit at the family table and gently place a hand on Lyra's thigh as I whisper smugly, "Sorry brother, looks like I am the favorite~ as for my consort, you may refer to her by her name, Lyra; I'm sure she would enjoy it." He snorts derisively and rolls his eyes, clearly furious, though remaining quiet to avoid my parents' reprimanding.
The other family members look around and start making ideal chit-chat. I squeeze her thigh gently, feeling her heartbeat quicken as I lean towards her and growl softly, whispering in her ear, "When we get to our room later tonight, I'm going to make you shriek my name~"
I hear her thoughts reach out as she puts a hand on mine, squeezing my hand in return A-asta...
I pull back and gaze at her as her face turns a deep red, my thoughts returning to her. My little Lyra, how are you feeling this morning?
She looks up from her food to smile at me with those big, innocent eyes. I'm doing well. How are you, Asta?
My gods, she is so tempting I want to slam her against the table and take her here and now.
My mother interrupts my thoughts as she sparks up a conversation with me. "Asta, my sweet daughter, how is your consort fairing this morning?"
I smile and put my fork on my plate. "She's been fairing quite well; remarkably unproblematic, very unlike Vesper's first consort,"
My brother, Lysander Psyren, chuckles and remarks. "And he will still go through three more."
My father pipes in before Vesper can retort. "Stop your bickering. And Lysander? What did we say about revealing someone's future?"
I sit a bit straighter with a smirk against my lips. When we get our food, I steal glances at Lyra's eating, admiring her natural beauty.
Mistress, why are you staring at me? It's making me nervous... I chuckle and smile at her before paying attention to my food while massaging her shaking thigh under the table.
...
After we eat, I gently pull her along with the leash, bringing her to the gardens. Hearing her thoughts buzz with awe, I smile and pull her into my embrace as we stand on the balcony leading out to the moonlit gardens.
"I-it's beautiful here.." I chuckle and nod, looking out into The Midnight Sanctum, as they call it. Every tree and bush has black leaves due to it being perpetually night. The twisting, broken-up stone paths go deeper into the small forest outside the castle. Kissing the top of her head.
"I had one of the servants set something up for us deeper into the garden. Do you wanna see it love?" She nods, still taking in all the beautiful sights. I gently pick her up and carry her bridle style before walking down the stairs and going to my favorite garden spot, a secluded spot in the corner of the park shadowed by the stunning pink-leaved tree.
She's going to love this. I will make her remember this night for all time to come... I wonder what she's thinking.
As we approach my favorite spot, I set her on the ground, letting her stand alone. She gasps softly, seeing the picnic laid out before her.
I tap into her mind to hear one thought screaming over all the others. I don't deserve all this...
I take her into my arms as my lips quickly find her neck, taking a deep breath of her scent, growling softly as I whisper, "You deserve happiness, and I'm determined to make you happy."
She is so tempting... Her scent is lavender, a sweet type of lavender. I want her, but I have to wait... Unless we make this fast~
I growl and sit behind her, pulling her into my lap. I feel her thoughts buzz; I tune into them and hear her thoughts scream of erotic things. "I know what you want~" My hands slip down her sides, gently caressing the outside of the bruise. I heard her gasp and arched her back against me.
"A-asta~ Please, mistress." Her thoughts scream with pleasure when I touch her bruise; I grin and chuckle.
She's a fucking masochist, so that means this will bring her more pleasure than pain...
I silently extend my fangs and bite into her exposed shoulder, hearing her surprised cries as she grips my jeans, pressing myself against her back as I fill her with overflowing pleasure.
"A-asta!! N-now?!" I growl into the open wound, not bothering to retract my fangs as I dig them more deeply.
I am eliciting another pleasured, pain-filled cry from her. My thoughts are reaching out to her. My little Lyra, you're mine, and I want everyone to see it. She nods against me, her hands finding my thighs as she grips them.
There it is, that beautiful smell, the smell of her arousal, but I can't have her, not yet...
After drinking from her, I pull off her newly marked shoulder, grinning as a new thought crosses my mind.
I enjoyed drinking from her... I wanted to... Gods, this girl is going to be the death of me.
...
I smile, picking her sleeping form up, carrying her to my room, laying her down, and gently kissing her forehead. "Sleep well, my lovely consort." I sigh and leave her in the room, ordering the employees to bring her to me when she wakes.
...
I stand and yell at my family members, "I DO NOT RECOMMEND that we move on with this project? It is dangerous and could hurt, possibly kill, the majority of our employees."
My father rolls his eyes. "The slav-" He receives an intense slap on the shoulder from my mother, her slicing glare and the pain making him wince and rephrase. "The employees will be fine. We have several research articles backing this hypothesis."
A servant enters the room as my enraged father stands and glares at them.
"What have I told you servants about interrupting us?!" I roll my eyes and see my consort enter behind her as everyone gasps at the noticeable fresh bite mark on her.
I grin to myself softly, having elicited the exact reaction I wanted. "Relax, Father. I told her to bring my consort when she woke up."
She has a plaid skirt, a modest tank top, and a sports bra underneath, which is very cute if I say so myself.
I walk over to her, gently hooking my arm around hers as my sibling Orion stands and speaks, confused. "I thought you didn't feed on people, sis?"
I give my only seat to my consort as I stand beside her. "Well, brother, if you must know about my limited affairs, yes, I did feed off of her, but it was to get closer to her so I could read her mind."
Every one of my siblings stares at me as Orion says bluntly, "You can read minds?"
I chuckle softly and nod, brushing the hair off Lyra's shoulder as my mother speaks. "Just because Athena is the one that shows off that ability doesn't mean her twin doesn't have it." Orion flushes at the obvious logic, looking away and muttering moodily to himself, and everyone else does a bit of the same, causing me to hold back a giggle.
I stand a bit straighter as I begin to speak. "Hello, my family. I would like to formally introduce you to the newest member of our family, my lovely consort Lyra."
I can see the blush on her face as I bend down and gently kiss her cheek. "So when were you gonna tell us you're a lesbian?" Selene - my youngest sister and by far the most facetious one - quips, smirking and wiggling her eyebrows at me.
Athena gasps and smacks her on the shoulder. "Selene!"
I hold my hand up and shake my head. "I should have told everyone much before this, but I wanted to surprise you all with my consort."
...
That couldn't have gone better, in my opinion; what do you think, little Lyra?
She shakes her head and thinks back. No, I didn't like the attention to myself, although what were you arguing about when I first walked into the room?
I nod in understanding. We talked about a secret project my father is working on with my brothers. I think it's a bad idea. Wanting to get my mind off things, I take her to the next destination of our special day: The bedroom.
