The Slumbering Forest was definitely named by someone who was either devoid of basic senses or in a state of inebriation. 

Tall trees mingled with shorter ones, while shrubs and bushes provided shelter and nourishment for the teeming variety of forest life. 

Birds of varying sizes, hues and musicality thronged the branches above and flew all around. 

The forest was alive, awake and a veritable verdant paradise that deserved a far better name.
