“Hey, your target is down below,” a small android cat pointed down at the rooftop below.
“Yes, I know,” the viewscreen through the mask had already analyzed the villain. He had killed 10 people, brutally, and all were mothers with a similar build. A serial killer. “I will dispose of him, don’t worry. Is the area secure?”
Drone nodded, and with narrowed eyes the figure jumped from the skyscraper, and landed on the villain. With one quick jab to the neck all life signs were gone. “Drone, where to next?”
“To sleep, you still require rest.”
“If I rest, more villains have the chance to kill. Send me the next target.”
“Very well.”
The next target was on the other side of a glittering city. A city in the world plagued by villainy, and a warped sense of heroism. Heroes, a foolish word used by glorified security celebrities. Using powers bestowed upon them from a military experiment that went public about 200 years ago to rid the world of those who harmed society. But they were not actually gone, just locked away in supposed impenetrable prisons. Villains still managed to escape, and come back worse than before. Heroes would never acknowledge this fault.
There was only one method that was sure to be rid of this evil forever.
“I found her, securing the target,” and with another swift movement and a loud crack, another villain was gone. “Keep them coming.”
